Yes it has a veilside rear spoiler i didn't say it was veilside kitted, I said i didn't like the Veilside front bumper as they are too low and always get smashed Keep going guys.... keep attacking the car... Its quite intersting watching you attacking another member and their Supra

Simple thread Do you like Spoiler or no spoiler And all this crap comes out... Simple discussion do you like the look or not And immediatley by third answer we are having a dig I'm not the touchy one, christ the word naff and you all throw your dummies out of the pram talk about pick a word to peices and try and make something out of it At no time did any thoughts of offence meant or intended or was I critising anyones car, Far from it, from what i've seen of the cars in this club we are all very passionate about our Supras and their are some absolute beauties Simple question asked do you like the no spoiler look or not?? The shows / mags and circles this car is and has been featured in , go for this look, ( the typical JDM look ) Put my car next to a standard Supra unkitted and they will want to photo mine, Its not being big headed or anything, fact, but thats not what i go for in the meets and shows, but sometimes you are lucky and get picked ( ask a few of the guys on here) My mate has a real blinged up RX7 and yes some of the Rotary club hate it as its not "" original" but at Japfest alone he had 9 offers of features on it.. i'm happy to go to the big meets the big shows and then on the other hand i enjoy the little club meets, Tonight has tainted my view on here, shame as so far i have met some really nice Supra club people at meets , I'll say it again its all about what we each like, what our views are on a certain look THAT IS WHAT THE WHOLE THREAD WAS ABOUT !!!!

whatever, It was on people views, on what they like and don't like, Naff is a term not a personal attack I'm told i live in 1994 not 2006 Thats a personal attack... As are Cruise sites comments R34 in a computer game comments Stickers comments the list goes on, Egos ... quite scary really, I've met some really nice members at quite a few meets, Obviously not to night disapointed with the personal attacks Sensible discussion on what we think looks good and what we like on our Supra and what we don't like

Read the thread again Asked for views... didn't say i like Veilside best said it gave a JDM look Mecanno look each to their own, No Spoiler i personally don't like but what are other peoples views... James (Terrible tuner) mecanno spolier looks great on his car as does many others i've seen I've not slated anyones car or said mine looks better with a veilside So why launch into petty comments on stickers ??? Alot of what is on my car came with it from Japan ( so its stayed that way) Sensible debate on Spoilers just asking for views , Forums are about discussion, Not character assigniation and general piss taking We all own Supras and love our cars if you have a 700bhp Turbo or a NA who cares its a Supra and we should all be singing from the same hymn book I have been in the Jap scene now a long time Its built up on, no class barriers , where you live , what you earn who gives a monkies, its about our cars I've been at meets where a guy has a 1000hp skyline and a guy comes in with a done up Micra ,, people say nice car mate dont take this piss Never have i seen people look down or take the piss... its all about the Jap import scene and Jap cars, I used to own an FTO years ago , In The club did Mivec owners look down on GR owners ..no.. it was an FTO and we all were involved with them and had a passion for them food for thought there

Yep discussion on spoilers, I'm signing off, can't be bothered thought we were having a good discussion on what we thought looks good on our Supras friendly car club, big egos... glad your not all like this

great debate people... Its good to understand how people see their car, what we each think looks great and what we don't, At the end of the day... very rarely do you see a bog factory standard Supra, Just think in years to come when it becomes a classic, Someone will be painstakingly restoring one back to factory concours So off will come all the HKS / big turbos / spoilers etc etc quite funny when you think about it that way, I think the Supra will at some stage become a classic icon... if it isn't already similar to the R34GTR Skyline...

It just Goes back abit with all the other Jap sites involved with A few bits on the car, I had a few other Supra names in mind but they were taken, the sites user names had your car name in which was a bit of a pain and limited Just had to think of something and that got accepted on the user name and well its sort of just carried on really... its on no real significence ... Got Skyline friends same thought of thing, its just easier to keep using same name as you bump into people later on in the forums as they change cars etc

Its all about what you personally like on your Supra, We all like something different, thats what makes this car i think quite special, and a little different from the norm Its like when you see these lovely over the top custom Supras with big power, Stunning cars, then you look inside and it has red seats or something... Whatever we drive the Supra always seems to draw lots of attention, and debate Thats great for a car that is nearly 13 years old in design but is still so fresh..

Each to their own i suppose , are all those who have the large mecanno spoilers pratts? Everything goes full circle Std Veilside TRD DO Luck etc and back again we go to standard, The standard wing is the supra trademark Standard wing Toyota skirts and front bumper look best Anyway I was just interested in everyones ideas on what they think looks great on a Supra I'll leave it at .

sorry don't know what you mean cruise site ?? if you are refering to film.. I was just asking for views... just interested as we are all supposed to be car nuts ... No don't do cruises not my thing, i've been doing the proper meets and involved with Jap imports now etc for 5 - 6 years

Only like the Rear Spoiler as i think it gives the Typical JDM look Veilside Front bumpers i hate, and everyone you see has smashed up edges because there are too low I think mix and matching with some of the kits can create some great looks

oh dear... yeah I know i 'm in for it now ... all you guys that have Supes for years have been there done that with the Veilside ... ha ha Its alll Bomex and TRD these days, Luis looks great i must say

yeah agree not great after all the hype.. Even my 13 yr old lad was disapointed 1st was best with the Supe and then the format always gets killed down the line, I suppose the 1st was something different to normal films and its just gone downhill from then, 2nd film i thought was utter crap..

What is it with the latest trend in removing spoilers?? I think it looks really awful.. A supra is not a supe without a spoiler, Std looks great Veilside for that JDM dramatic look and the TRD well that always looks great:cool: Not sure about all these huge Halfords macano spoilers that are being fitted by that can look good with certain bodykits Removing them doesn't create the ferrari look which i think some people are trying to acheive, it just looks silly in my opinion and lloks like somethings missing or makes the car look basic and worse still when people put grommets in the holes... nasty!!

Just wondered has anyone been to see the latest Fast and Furious movie ? Still reckon the first one was the best, what are your views for those who've seen it ?? But the latest one wasn't bad i suppose, good little twist at the end with Vin Diesel. I have been waiting now for my Inital D DVD too, You were able to purchase at samet ime as Cinema release, but cheeky buggers took payment and then told me two weeks later their stock had still not arrived, anyway had a call to say it will be with me next week, Inital D was the biggest grossing film of 2005 in Japan, beating War of the worlds and Harry Potter etc 10 fold, Must say i did laugh when we came out of the cinema from watching the latest fast and furious, I got stuck outside the cinema for nearly 45 minutes, All the kids wanted photos standing with the Supra... did make me laugh and made some kids happy!!

Hi Just a quicky When i come up to JAE and pay to go in, Do i need some sort of pass to get in to park up on the club stand? Branners has said I just pay and then drive in onto club area, Last year i parked in the public area outside
