Go on get a Veilside you know you want to really....
-
Maybe dated in some peoples opinion, But the Supra is what started that look off, If you ask anyone who's not really into a Supras Most assume / or think they should or always had the Veilside on To the un educated most people think that is the standard Turbo look funny i think

Go for it, I have a Veilside Spoiler on mine and think it looks great, Always attracts massive attention, So we are all Veilside lovers this week ...??? Last week it was rip my car to peices with its Veilside on .... Yep ignore the haters mate, People will drool over your Supe with its Veilside on, Petrol stations and Supermarket carparks when you are in a rush are the nrmal with people asking loads of questions and interest in the car, I got stuck outside the cinema after taknig my lad to see the new 2f2f movies All the kids wanted their photo taken with the car... God you are only young once .... enjoy it ...

Only a stick ... could think of better things!!

Now this is really true .... Funny no one watches it, everyone hates it , But who ever you speak to...... knows who's in it!! I occasionally may catch the odd bit if nothing else is on... but not a fan But can't beleive people sit there all day and night watching it, As sad as it is... I think Niki was hilarious to watch when she went into one... Silly really losing one of the only people that actually gave entertainment in there has now gone... oh except that Guy Pete.. It's not his illness which makes him funny, but i think he plays on it and there is alot of Jim Carey going on there with him ...

My N/A responds amazingly to the cold air , winter and early mornings and late night, almost like taking the handbrake off ... But on the whole i've found mine to be far more responsive with the HKS on than it was with the stock Air box, N/A doesn't have the heat soak issues of the TT which apparantley runs better on the stock Air box Don't expect a roar though, mines a little more throaty but doesn't growl like my old FTO did with a Blitz kit on, bu then again my supe has a massive Jap exhaust ( 5in Tailpipe) , so hear very little over that, But will upgrade the Cone as the HKS Mushroom filters have crap filteration Looking for one of those Stainless mesh ones i had on the FTO but the supe has a 100mm dia( i think) neck

Oh well can't attach a simple digital picture as this doesn't allow anything over 244kbs ... mmmm How do we go about this then?? if can't attach standard photos?
-
Have a HKS Induction kit on mine and make up this simple heat sheilds out of Alloy only took about 15 mins, see attached Does the cold feed go out through that hole on th inner wing? Was thinking of making up something similar to what you have done

Hi Had a phone call tonight from Claire at Ace regarding another matter in a company wanting to borrow my Supra for some mag features, Any to cut a long story short, the rumour that the Ace Cafe July meet was the last Jap nite was is incorrect, Next meet will be as usual 1st Tuesday of the month ( next one 1st Tuesday in Aug)[GRIN][/GRIN] As it stands at the moment the only car nights to be banned due to public saftey are : Max Power nite Ford Nite .

It is awesome in the flesh, You'll see it at JAE Only stands him £8000 that was buying the car and transforming it Bought as a red Auto on ebay for £2k Man conversion, new engine + upgrades big BHP Full refurb and respray looks superb You couldn't by a decent standard one for that money espaecially with the new engine and box fitted, Never thought of orange before but looks amazing Just like Gamers Supra ... the orange is amazing
-
It does now, Had on front and back when that was taken Sorry that was only pic i had. Think your car will look great when done,
-
Trust me you'll get it, @ Japfest my friends RX7 see attached have 9x offers of Mag features and its not finished yet
-
Yep a future classic, Apparanty in the States they can't get enough of the TT and they are being imported in, figures of 80 - 90.000 dollars are being quoted
-
Not chav Just JDM Got graphics on mine and Veilside spoiler Not to everyones taste, but as the car gets featured in stuff , that look is required, I also do advertising on it for a friends Import website, Theres more to life that just a bare Supe , Just depends what you are involved in, But be assured if you were at a show your car will get photo'd Lui's Supe is popping up in every mag at the moment ... good luck to him

-
Phew Panic over, i'm listed in the calandar section, ha ha Still trying to convince the half half Lui about going Sunday instead, But the early start of the convoy has killed that idea i think, Sunday though is surely the finishing up day, or at least it always used to be... Have this dilema every year... do i do the Sat or Sunday??
-

-

[QUOTE=Sub_Culture] It would be like a Subaru club if all our cars looked the same!... That really made me laugh.... THAT IS SO TRUE ITS SCARY...

This car looks great, but its the US look... not JDM JDM look is the car culture in Japan and the way they have their cars and the spec, they have the wheels the spoilers , graphics etc etc , this even extends to customised MPV's Films like 2F2F were inspired by this car culture, big turbos , bright colours, The Jap import scene is not just about standard cars, but "the something different" too We buy imports because they are different from what is available to us in reagrds of looks and spec If you have ever been to a Jap Auction, its a real eye opener at what is available but sadly not to us because of Model Reports, To actually buy a standard car out there is not like buying a car here, they all modify them, thats why we want them !! everycar is crammed with extras But this is getting harder to find that something special due to ESVA and SVA So to understand the JDM and Jap car culture, you are looking at cars like the attached, It seems strange some ridicule Supras with kits and graphics, when actually they don't seem to understand it, I have been involved in this culture ( what is started out as ) nearly 6 yeaers now, No one wanted a standard car, Seems odd you all drive Import and modded Supras but forget the roots of how it came about over here, I'm into all Jap cars not just Supras, and the sport side too on the Jap cars , drifting is the latests as is Time Attack , Veilside is and was the classic JDM Supra look , A look which inspired so many copies onto other makes Typical JDM is big spoilers, tinted rear class , bodykits , graphics etc, not smoothed out looks... that US (CAL LOOK) Hope that expalins it abit, but when you have a friend in the import business you actually see what people want... and what people buy and it is not standard cars... But times move on and trends change, hence why we now fit TRD etc etc
-
Oh gone on then, you won't be able to sleep Oil cap [sHOCK][/sHOCK] It came over from Japan with all the bits and peices on, its typical JDM I have good friends who are importers, Trouble is the Russian Mafia and Russia in general are pushing up the Auction prices as Jap car are big in Russia He was buying 600bhp Supras with approx 100k worth of engines for £13000 but that was very short lived, He has just returned from Japan chosing cars and seeing his buyer, , while out there he visited Nismo Racing and Top Secret ( lucky guy!!) I had to put new wheels on as one cracked by itself parked on the drive while i was on holiday !!! Oh i put the Momo on to, but everything else is as it arrived and thats how its staying,
