  1. If you're thinking of the bronze one, that was 4stringmike.

    HID Kit Anyone?

I could be in, depending on cost. November/December is never a good time.

    Squeaking Breaks

Mine have been doing the same ever since I had the pads changed a couple of months ago. I haven't checked to see if the shims are fitted, but I suspect not. Anyone got a spare set for UK brakes?
  4. I'd go for fully polished
  5. Doesn't one have larger lugs than the other Nic? I thought the 9006 needed trimming slightly to fit in place of 9005's?
  6. Spotted a JSpec 'M' reg parked up in Ashley Road this morning. Nice. And shortly afterwards saw a red N/A for sale in a garage there. Salesman said it was a fresh import - he was asking £6995 for it.
  7. Don't you believe it 52. Now the expense REALLY starts.
  8. Gotta love those Triton guys. Tim recommended them when I bought the car and they've been good to me so far. Sounds like the local Toyota place is just another typical Westover screwover branch then... Glad you got sorted Simon.
  9. It's primarily a Trade site. We get their emails here because of our lease fleet.
  10. Spotted this one - silver '96 JSpec TT manual: http://www.autorola.co.uk/dealer/bid.do;jsessionid=2DD906EEC4F6A7113C7772C29EEFDD85?aid=3995&eid=392961&zz=1
  11. "Tips on going round Australia" Hmmm - a boat would be good. Definitely go round, don't land whatever you do....
  12. Talk about cashing in on the craze they started in the first place...
  13. Something like "If I ask the other guy if cutting the red wire is correct - would he tell me Yes or No?" I think... If he's telling the truth and the red wire is correct he'll say No ('cos the other guy would lie). If he's lying and the red wire is correct he'll say No ('cos the other guy would tell the truth but he would lie about it). If he's telling the truth and the red wire is wrong he'll say Yes (see reasoning above). If he's lying and the red wire is wrong he'll say Yes too (ditto above). Ah, to hell with it - work it out yourself...
  14. Not a Messerschmitt, they looked like this: That's a good old BMW Isetta Bubble Car - front opening and no reverse gear - so woe betide you if you parked too close to a wall... http://www.bmwworld.com/images/cars/vintage/isetta_ad2.jpg (My mate had one and did just that...)
  15. Yep - a young mechanic down at the Holes Bay Merc place bought it (and looks after it better than I ever could).
  16. Sounds like you lad is like mine Ellis: "Why don't you do {insert any mod here} to it dad? - It'd look great!" I pandered to him last time with the MX6 and look what I ended up doing: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/ken.holland/images/SpoilerSide.jpg I'M NOT LISTENING THIS TIME CARL!!!
  17. We get this a lot from our sites too. The latest batch of viruses send spam messages out pretending to be from your domain. Hopefully those that get these stupid messages will see them for what they are and just delete them. Even better, they'll be behind some good protection. The best one I've seen lately was from ebay - "Your account has just been debited £xxxx because you have just bought a 12" supa-dupa vibrator. Please click on the link to confirm payment." My boss went spare when he got that one... Unfortunately, he'd already clicked the link and got the appropriate NAV warning.
  18. If my lad acted like that I'd give him a damn good slap! OK, I might be brilliant with cars (not), but to hold his Dad up for public humiliation like that is asking for trouble...
  19. Don't worry - as said above, they don't check before you go out. Just be sensible and don't draw unwarranted attention. You'll know what I mean when you see it. Mind you, there's not much chance of being anything else near the entrance - you'll be far too busy avoiding all the bikes and 911s...
  20. That's HB3 and HB4 then.

    Zonda WOW

There were 3 Zondas parked up near each other at Nurburgring last Monday: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/ken.holland/Nurburg/Dsc01469.jpg http://homepage.ntlworld.com/ken.holland/Nurburg/Dsc01470.jpg http://homepage.ntlworld.com/ken.holland/Nurburg/Dsc01471.jpg
