  1. Handy to know or handy to steer clear of Brian?
  2. Only 19 and she's already got the orange peel legs of a 40 year old...
  3. NTL tech support are always full of bullshit like that. Sometimes I lose my connection for days on end and they've never given a satisfatory solution to any problem I've thrown at them. Their customer service stinks too! If it weren't for the fact that I've not got a BT line installed I'd go elsewhere.
  4. Congratulations Brian from someone else who's been there too. Pretty soon you'll be able to afford two Supras - and the petrol to run them...

    Tad overpriced?

I got a warning from Ebay about him: "NOTICE: eBay Communication Partner Warning" It basically said to be careful of any emails recieved from him but gave no real reason...
  6. I get exactly the same - so it looks like a standard thing. I just press the button to put it back to fresh.
  7. Picked up 3 a few years ago but I'll be clean next April. Oh the embarrassment of it - 42 in a 30...

    Recoiless Rifle

I was at Bovy when the Regts merged and never went back - left in '98 after my 22 were up. My last 10 years (and the happiest) were at Bovy. Saying that, the name's familiar... Ken (Holland)

either that or some Lancer recce mob... Me, I was with 3RTR who later became 2RTR And fire orders were a bit longer in my day 'cos we still had steam. None of this shorthand "Hesh rag head !!! ON!..........Firing!!!!" More like "Hesh rag head.....ON! ON! Fire Firing NOW Target stop" LOL
  10. They said on the local radio this morning that Murco have ordered in new pricing signs that are wider and can handle xxx.xx values, so it won't be long.
  11. My vision must being going altogether - I can't see any Supras.
  12. Just been told by 2 separate places that the Gates number is incorrect - apparently it's not a 21mm x 1955mm belt, but a 21mm x 1932 mm one. (Can't remember the number but will post it when I get it) I returned a 1932mm one this morning after reading that it was wrong on here. When I went to order from somewhere else they told me exactly the same thing. I want to get this cracked belt changed this weekend as I don't want to go touring Germany next week with it in it's current state. I don't suppose someone's got a new or used fan belt they could measure please? Cheers, Ken
  13. Sorry to resurrect this post, but have you seen the vid of a camel spider feeding? http://www.big-boys.com/articles/camelspider.html Don't tell me that won't hurt if it bites you. Uuurgghh!

Still keeping up the old tradition then Steve. Travel abroad, see interesting places, meet interesting people - and kill them!

I have an older RA Mk1 that I picked up for £150 as a refurbished unit and I'm well pleased with it. Considering they use the same map, I think the extra £££'s spent on a few added features is a waste. Why should I want a voice telling me there's a camera nearby when the RA I bleeps plenty loud enough. I do agree on the speed sensitivity too. The only difference is that if you approach a camera going under the posted limit, it goes off a lot later. I suppose it gives you more time to slow down if you're way over though. One other benefit of the Mk 1 is that the laser detector is detachable. So if they do outlaw detectors in the future then all you have to do is remove the detector (or maybe hide it down near the bumper?). RA II owners will be immediately screwed! Look out for them on Ebay as a lot of owners have upgraded to RA II so they can boast that they have the latest technology.
  16. "James, I'm sorry for that crack about Sarah. Now will you please let me out?" or "Now you know how it feels to be pregnant getting in and out of a Supra!"
  17. Well, as promised here are the photos I took. Apologies for the crap quality - I forgot the decent camera, then ran out of memory.
  18. Bugger - I gave my free packet to the brothers kids (he's a Vauxhall nut). If only I'd known they were going to become valuable 2 months down the line....

    Speedo error

I agree Matt - but 10% is being a bit too safe.

    Speedo error

Nice find Tony - thanks. I may just invest in one of those. $110 doesn't seem too bad. Now, whare's that darn speed sensor...
