  1. Any of these any good? http://www.buypartsby.co.uk/lambda_sensors.php
  2. Popped in to Tesco for 5 minutes this evening and when I got back there was a silver JSpec parked up. So close that he/she must have spotted mine as they pulled in. I think the plate was 695 xxx (the memory's starting to go )
  3. I get the "old geezer - must be slow" look. I'm 50
  4. Seen. Can't add our names though - You forgot to check the "Use a Roll Call" button at the bottom. Ahh, that's better

    The family

We sent a version of that one round at work - with one of the more unpopular guys in the office at the end...
  6. It's the reason they tell you not to look directly at the sun...
  7. Quick tip. When you're getting a quote and they ask if you've had other quotes - tell them yes. Give a low figure. 9 times out of ten they'll try to beat it or get near... Lin did this when her existing policy went up. She told them that she'd had quotes from elsewhere and they dropped her renewal down to lower than last year!!!
  8. Nickname - Dutch. Would like to be stuck in a lift with - an over 40 hottie. Most precious possession - Supra. Fav film that doesnt have a light sabre in it - Kill Bill. Worst car ever owned - Reliant Robin van (Delboy type). Car most like you and why - Supra - thirsty!. Claim to fame - Shook hands with Princess Margaret. End of term report - Sorry, much too long ago to remember, but they were all BAD!
  9. Followed me in past Westbourne then went down to the Branksome Woods area. I put my hand up but didn't get any acknowledgement. Ah well.
  10. Looked at both before settling on the Supra (but in all honesty I'd already made my mind up). Went to a place that sold both and chatted to the owner. He reckoned that 2 of the GTO's he's sold recently had to have the driveshafts replaced shortly afterwards, so he thinks there's an inherent weakness. That was all the convincing I needed.

    US Airbase

When I was in the (British) Army in Germany we used to get tax discounts over the locals too. They used to get just as upset about it as some do now about the Yanks over here. I don't have a problem with it - it's just a perk of the job and having to work miles away from home.
  12. Live in Poole, work in Verwood. That's a 36 mile round trip, and 99% of the time it's in the Supra Going to work usually takes about 20 mins, coming back it's always 45 or so because of the muppets in Bournemouth. Unless DB's in front that is, then it's about 15 minutes..
  13. Are we talking (relatively) sensible speeds or USA style Canonball stuff BTW?
  14. Nah - use http://www.carcrash.co.uk instead. Much better by far And as she's with Tesco, she'll probably come to us anyway.
  15. Hopefully I'll get to meet you for one or two of the later stages.
  16. Cheeky bugger. D'Oh DB - that means I've got another car to try and recognise!
  17. So that's what caused it. Mine has the paint chipped off the bonnet just there too. But my wiper pivots up just fine, so I guess Tim must have adjusted it at some time.
  18. Looks like the cars are in America now. I remember seeing them both at Goodwood - b e a u t i f u l... And what a set of pics. That guy must have crawled all over it
  19. 501 capless (push in) type. You can get them in different (usually illegal) colours and LED replacements too. You should be able to get at it from underneath (at least, I can on mine.) Cheers, Ken
