    Big Loss...

Just been listening to and watching the Alan Shearer testimonial - goosebumps haven't gone down yet and feels like the bottom has fallen out of my world. Sad eh? Anyone else been this gutted over something relatively small (when compared to health, bereavement etc)?
  2. Back to Robbo....... Do you travel northbound up the A1 in the mornings? I often see a similar white supe on my way south (I live in Gateshead but work in Durham). Will keep an eye out for the reg next time.
  3. Remember Fab lollies - with the hundreds and thousands on the top? Man, I'm pleased i'm going out down the quayside in toon tonight this thread is giving me one 'ell of thirst!
  4. Also partial to a good lemon sorbet or something too - very refreshing.
  5. Has to be Phish food for me....mmmmmm ice cream....
  6. I'd only use the polarizer in extreme sunlight - think I've only used mine the couple of times I've been to Oz (circular filter). As already said, makes a huge difference on skies and seas too. Unless the light is pretty bright though - it can make photos seem a bit darker...
  7. Doh! Hadn't realised he was in the states.... sorry!
  8. If you sell the rex for 16K, you'll be looking at more than an NA mate no worries.
  9. As with any financial agreement, there should be a 14 day 'cooling off' period. So you shouldn't have any probs cancelling it anyway.
  10. mind you, things did take on a 'darker' appearance whilst in HMP Frankland. That place seems to have a permanent dark cloud hovering overhead - I'm sure its anchored somehow!
  11. I haven't seen any rain in nearly a week up here on the sunny north east riviera. It been gorgeous in Durham today!

    Getting Fit..

....forgot to mention..... if you feel 6-12 reps isn't taxing enough you obviously need to increase the weight you're using (it should be very hard to squeeze out even 8-10 reps on the final set!)

    Getting Fit..

You need to make sure you hit all three parts of the tricep to increase the effectiveness of your routine and get maximum muscle development. I would include 3 of the following exercises but you're right to keep it to just once a week - when you feel you can, increase this to 2 times (but no more): Tricep dips, push/press down (with an angled bar, not a straight one) and close grip bench press (preferably with an EZ bar but straight will do) also a triceps extension (lying or standing). Aim for 4 intense sets of each exercise with moderate reps (6-12) and don't train on the same days as your biceps! Avoid the less effective 'isolation' movements such as the triceps kickback.

    Pissing Contest!

I more or less only read posts on here as opposed to submitting anything - building a Supra knowledge base up before I eventually get myself a little beaut! I do still read the tech forum too though and my observation is that it is helpful in the main with some, as already said, good natured banter. With just over 4000 members, that's pretty good odds that not everyone is going to get on with everyone else all of the time isn't it. Yeah, everyone has a common interest in the Supra but for a lot of people thats probably where it ends. Anyway.........it never really progess beyond 'handbags' does it? Maybe there should be a handbags at dawn smilie.....
  21. At least the original NA in the ebay pics has got a decent looking set of wheels on it......... errrrrrrrrrrr......sadly thats about it though.
  22. From what I understand, the person's own Certificate of Motor Insurance normally states that they have 3rd party cover to drive another person's car with the owners consent. This is of course providing they have Fully Comp cover themselves....
  23. Looks like a Hyundai Coupe on steroids!
  24. I see where you're coming from for peace of mind (and locallity) but with the huge amount of resources and expertise available through here, you're backs always gonna be covered one way or another....
  25. Vineplace are vastly overpriced though!! I've been wanting to get a supra since April/May this year but due to other circumstances just can't afford it yet. Anyway.....as a result I've been keeping a consistently close eye on the marketplace and whilst others (see this board for examples) have had to sell for rock bottom prices, Vineplace prices have remained ridiculously high. Don't know what their aftersales and warranty is like...... how much is yer mate getting you knocked off the £12k like???
