  1. Sorry to hear this news - try and spend some quality time with her.
  2. Hi mate welcome to the club. Where abouts in Tyne & Wear you from?
  3. Why not - puff pastry lid or shortcrust? Anyhow - point in hand. Sensible offers considered.
  4. I'll throw in my kidneys too shall I?
  5. Nice one - try doubling it maybe.
  6. Sorry Michael - that would help of course... Collection from Newcastle.
  7. 2 Dunlop SP Sport 8080E high performance tyres with 275/35ZR18 fitment These are both completely brand new and unused so have full tread. Originally bought as spares at the time of buying the car but I've since had a change of heart and will be changing my alloy wheels soon, which will probably be for something a little narrower... Designed for maximum wet performance with a directional tread pattern, the SP Sport 8080E were manufactured for fitment to the likes of BMW M5, Honda NSX, Lexus LS300, Porsche 993... This is the marketing speil... "On the outside, the SP Sport 8080E shares the basic design and directional tread pattern of the SP Sport 8000 to resist high speed hydroplaning on wet roads. It also features a silica enhanced tread compound (signified by the use of the "E" in its name, as in "8080E") to improve wet traction at all speeds and enhance treadwear. In the bead area the SP Sport 8080E features Dunlop's Max Flange Shield (MFS) which helps protect alloy wheels from curb damage when parking. On the inside, its twin steel belts are reinforced by JointLess Band (JLB) of nylon to provide Z-high speed capability while reducing weight and enhancing performance and ride quality. The SP Sport 8080E also features Dunlop's continuously wound Single Strand Bead (SSB) to allow it to fit the rim snugly while it further improve ride uniformity". Here's a few links to verify just how expensive these normally are: http://www.internettyres.com/product.asp?P_ID=200 http://www.alloywheels.com/tyres.asp?width=275&profile=35&size=18 So as you can see, these normally come in at around £200 each - I'll take £300 ono plus postage but would prefer collection to be honest. Thanks for looking.

Here you go mate: http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=111545 Be warned though, it is an addictive process. Part 2a - scratch & swirl removal took me the best part of the time to be honest. Worth every minute of it though

Cheers Michael - that makes 2 of us! Spent nigh on £90 yesterday on Meguiars products and 7 hours today following Lewis' car cleaning thread to the letter - that thread is fantastic, cheers mate. Anyhow the results look awesome on the flat black - nice and 'wet' looking. However....went to take some pics and discovered the gf's camera battery was flat, so they'll have to wait until tomorrow.

Forgot to mention it has a Blitz Nur Spec on that I shall be needing to change - far too loud for my preferences. Gonna head up to Envy soon and maybe see if a Baffle would sort it out first.

    At Last!

Well.....after being glued to this forum for about 2 years, I've finally gotten my finger out and bought myself a Supra! Its a '93 NA with Manual box. Black with OEM skirts and Spats and an aftermarket front but I'm not sure what... The alloys are pretty wrecked to be honest but as I got the car under my budget I can hopefully rectify this soon with a new set. Planning on giving it a good cleaning, polish, wax etc tomorrow so I'll get some pics up then. At some point in its life I think it belonged to a member of this club - reg is LUI 8387. Anyone know the car? Back tomorrow with Pics....

    NA documents

Guisgsy - yeah, the car is being sold by a uk seller. Linda - thanks for that reply and the link. Top stuff! I'll definitely check it out

    NA documents

So, I can obviously expect all the usual V5, MOT docs as per any car, how important are the import docs though?
  14. Stevo

    NA documents

Hey all, Just wondering - what documents (as a minimum) should I expect to see if I'm buying an NA? Not a fresh import or anything, its just a private sale. But is there anything I should be suspicious of if its missing or he doesn't have? Cheers

    HSA Motors

The black SZ seems suspiciously cheap at not much over the £3k mark don't you think?

    HSA Motors

Hi, just wondering if anyone has any knowledge of or experiences in dealing with HSA Motors in Epsom, Surry? Do they have any kind of reputation? Cheers, Steve
  17. Is the plan still to meet at the Keelman pub then go onto the North East Modified show at Seaburn then?
  18. They're definitely not Tyneside phone numbers.....
  19. Here's the link again with directions: http://www.petersen-stainless.co.uk/blb/location.html
  20. Just so there's no confusion, thats The Keelman pub at 'Newburn' not Newbiggin - don't want people trecking half way up the coast...
  21. Welcome to the club mate. Must feel great to finally have bought one. I've been a member on here for 2 years and still don't even own one! Getting closer now though......watch this space
