  1. I've got a spare hatch kicking around, so when i paint my car (soon hopefully) I'm going to weld the 3rd brake light, wiper hole and remove spoiler holes on one of them. Like Sub_Cultures car, so i'll have both options. I've also got a mirrored rear glass, but don't know if that'll look a bit dated though! It was a factory option and has the big supra logo across it.
  2. I'll be there, but not in my supra. I'll mosey over to the club stand and say hi to everyone though. Should be a good day. You going then Darryl? Be cool to catch up with ya

    whos awake

Been on baby detail for the last hour. The little man doesn't approve of lay ins on saturday.
  4. It's a shame we didn't have this conversation while you were there. We could have met up and talked Bo**ox about cars I'll be there for three or four weeks yet. Don't know what i'm doing after, yet. Maybe i'll retire.
  5. Yeah, that clay is like ice when it's wet, hey! Was you with Nuttalls then?
  6. Mid Sussex Testing (laboratory). I'm the only person there from them. You may have seen me driving up and down in my green Defender!
  7. On a good note, if you live in Bedford and normally queue for ages through Great Barford from the A1, let it be known that the bypass will soon be open (August) I've been working on this bad boy since September, testing the stone used for the Sub-Base as it's coming from Holland via boat. Gonna be a nice stretch of road when it's open. Duel with no junctions for 7k's.
  8. This exact topic was discussed last night, i'm sure. Maybe Deja-vu
  9. Good to see someone asking if he'll part the car a few posts in.
  10. I used T-cut first then, Maguires plastex after as its finer than t-cut. The T-cut soon takes off the yellowing, and the plastex gives a crystal clear finish It's not a great picture, but you can see which one of my lights have been done. I got the Maguires Plastex of e-bay by the way.
  11. Sounds good, how much did this cost? Anybody got any good links to somewhere that supplies alarms and has prices listed. I really dont know how much to spend! The car is uninsured with no mot, so need the alarm fitted before i can get insurance or mot.
  12. Has anybody used one of those companys that will come out and fit an alarm to your car? I remember seeing a company featured in a magazine once, think it was Japanese Performance, but can't remember who they were. Also, can anybody recommend a good alarm. Wouldn't mind remote start but really just need something decent as i'm insuring my car soon. What's everybody using?

    Bodyshop supplies

I want to have a look at differant fillers, and find out if there is some kind metal based filler that sets like old style Leading. I'll have a browse on e-bay.
  15. Took your word for it mate, bought it yesterday. I've only had time to do a few laps in arcade mode, but i can tell i'll be hooked. The fact that the tracks are the same as Gran Tourismo is a bonus, because i know them well and can concentrate on controling the bike. The onboard view is awesome, very realistic but more difficult. You're right about the falling off bit though.
  16. Does any body know of an online supplier for body repair products such as fillers and wet and dry paper, that sort of thing. Tried Halfords but the don't really list much.
  17. Absxxxx is right....... If there's oil in the coolant, but no coolant in the oil it may not be the head gasket. I have this same problem with my Audi at the moment. I went to Sants Pod at the weekend, and when i pulled into the gates to pay i wound the window down and could hear tapping from the engine. Thinking the oil must be low i lifted the bonnet to check and saw a custard type gunk in the coolant tank (oil). But when i looked on the dipstick there was no coolant contaminating the oil! Turns out the Audi has on oil cooler that is plumbed into the coolant system, and when they get old and brittle these can fracture internaly and leak oil into the cooland but not the other way round. Lucky for me it's just a case of replacing the oil cooler and flushing the coolant system through. Is the pug simmilar?

    Update

Coming along there mate. Hard to judge the colour in artificial light, needs some sun on it. Did you take the quarter glasses out yourself? Were they dificult to remove?
  20. It's ok mate, don't worry. I've booked a courier now, it was surprisingly cheap. Cheers anyway. I didn't mention that they were wheels with tyres on, wouldn't you have struggled to get four of em in your supra anyway? Spose you could've made two trips
