final wheel machined today, also quickly metal polished the FMIC and the exhaust. And I removed the outer two bolts on the RMM lip on both side, made the holes slightly larger and got a better fit from it. Doesn't sound alot but still took a few hours, that is most the little niggles done now.

well we changed the sliders and not the claipers as i want it at a shop for that after looking at the nuts on the claipers, and i managed to snap a bolt on the o2 sensor so over all was pretty crap haha. been in corfu for a week though so havent worried about it, got the car for MOT tomorrow then its going to be sorted.

no events planned no :( bit rubbish as the car just isnt getting used despite this year me being determined to use it lots instead of the shows

So Last friday Lee kindly got me in last minuet at SRD to rectify my cock up. The new OEM O2 sensor is now fitted after removing the exhaust, down pipe and y pipe to get access to the broken stud to replace. But Good as new now, also while there had the Oil and filter done just to save my time. So thats a couple of jobs of the list.

Big thanks to the SRD lads once again, superb service as always.

Also had the MOT done the other day and she sailed though as always which is great news. Got under the car while it was in the air to inspect the underside, and although there is some surface rust on some of the suspension component its actually still looking pretty good. And as im accumulating parts to do the suspension at a later date it was a nice piece of mind.

SO not sure where to start, been a little while since I updated this thread and thought I should pop an update up as a few things have happened.

Starting where I left off then..... Once leaving lee's the car was prepped for Tea Room tours, given a good clean, finished a few service bits here and there and the wheels given a good polish. Tea Room tours was fantastic, everyone that came along made it incredible and if anyone wants to see a highlights video please see the link to the TRT Facebook page. The car ran faultlessly thoughout the weekend of hard driving and MANY miles untill the home stretch 20 mins from home, and the car shut off and water appeared on my feet. After discovering my AC had been dumping water into my footwell throughout the weekend! dried it out and got the car home. Once home I stripped the interior and dried everything very carefully and it turned out to be a blocked drain pipe on the condenser! no idea how but a lovely easy fix. Been fine since! While I had the interior apart I also managed to fix my upper glove box which has never fit 100%.

After all that the car sat in the garage for a bit, using it when I could and have done a few drives over the last couple of weeks.

Next up the car has been accepted to the NEC classic car show again which I was very happy about so obviously need the car looking brilliant, so what did i do? decided to go for a hoon and on a spirited tail happy moment decided to hit a curb and damage my wheel lips! GUTTED! this was a couple of days agao and I cant thank Ibrar enough as he now has the wheels sat in the shop and should be ready with days to spare for the show! :eyebrows: Cant wait to have the wheels back better than ever. Shit happens so, build it break it build it better. Gone for silver spokes again this time in gloss and polished lips as before, but with gloss black centre caps and inner barrels this time. Should looks good hopfully.

That brings us up to date other than a few small touches like some gauges and gear rings not much else has changed for now. I am however about to do a few bits for the NEC and my underbody part collection is slowly growing for the refurb when I get time.

Nice Jake. Car looks beautiful as always.

I was asked to join the NEC this year in the stock Red beauty but no chance with family commitments etc. I could drive up and leave it there but my OCD would mean I'd spend a month having to clean and polish everything beforehand and no time for that!

Enjoy.

Amazing work mate would you be interested in making custom ones to sell?
Thanks mate I'm assuming your talking about the carbon box? I can happily help you out mate if you want one but this one has cost me 180 in carbon alone. The supplier now only stocks the expensive sheets so Ment this one cost me more than I wanted.

Drop me a what's app :)
