So why on earth is the OP getting £170 quotes?

Is it mistake?

Or is the online system messed up? I cant belive i live in a postcode that increases the quote x4 when i do less miles with an agreed value of half?!?

I dont know, I definitely did it by phone and my rough situ :

29

5 years ncb. No accidents.

No points

Named driver on another vehicle

Catch bus to work - leisure policy only

Sub 5k miles

Parked on driveway in a town which has most retired people ratio in Britain

Owned previous supra too (they seemed to ask for car history)

I am assuming your Supra is over 15 years old for them to cover it as a classic?

Footman James ended up cancelling my policy with them as they changed their policy on classics from 10 years to 15 whilst I had my NA. My NA at the time was 13 years old and I was going to swap for a 12 year old TT. They said that they would "honour" my insurance on the NA if I stayed with them and renewed, but would insure me if I swapped the car.

In the end I got my money back off Footman James and went with Lynbrook who were £150 cheaper anyway.

Lynbrook will cover a car at 10 years old and I am paying £293.00. 5k miles limited and agreed value is £15 extra.
