Thanks man, just go confirmation from Japan, my car was rebuilt by TRD Technocraft 5 years ago, she left factory in 1993 and was sent back to TRD Technocraft in 2002. In Japan the car is considered a TRD Genuine Car whether it started out as a TRD Car like your white Supra or was brought back to be kitted out to same standard as your white supra.

Basically once the car has TRD Technocraft VIN and number it is the REAL Deal.

Which makes sense as both cars have gone through same TRD Technocraft 3000GT program. So I am a happy camper

But it looks like Jurgen sold his Black TRD built car too cheap!!!

Hope you have loads of Pics in your garage, Does your Supra have custom built Bilstein Suspension as well, inother words custom offset for wheels!!!

Custom offset? The Bilstein dampers have nothing to do with wheel offset.

I'd assume the cars were fitted with the TRD suspension, these use custom Bilstein made dampers with a 3 stage height adjustment.

Just I am getting VOLK GTC Wheels and was told there maybe a custom offset required as opposed to a normal Supra because she is TRD. I just assumed it was due to the Bilstein, thanks for info though

Have to do some reading up on Suspension so

Would you know if yours is normal Standard Supra Fitment (Offset etc)

You'll need lower wheel offset because of the wide body kit. The lower offset will make the wheels stick out further.

Hi Nic

Do know the offset of your car, I know RSE Motorsport have Replica TRD Supra in Oct Months Japanese Perofrmance Mag but unfortunately their are no offset numbers

So these things aren't done properly with longer wishbones and driveshafts, or different subframes, they just nailed on silly offset wheel rims? :( At least Alpine did things properly in the eighties when they did the Renault 5 Turbo I and Turbo II's. Even Nissan managed to do a wider track on the GTR V the GTS-t properly, with different subframes, shafts and proper geo. The rear hub bearings on the JZA80's are marginal at best, God knows what they make of the sort of offset they must run to fill the arches visually. I'd be more worried about drivetrain problems than a plaque or chassis number.

My car is on way over from Japan so I didnt have a chance to look to see what is different to standard Supra, so I couldnt tell you how she is setup only Nic or Jurgen will know because thaey have seen a TRD built supra in the Flesh

What model, size and width of wheels are you going to fit? The TRD widebody kit widens the car by 25mm each side. If you let me know wheel sizes you are wanting, I'll work out rough offset you'll need to fill the arches.

I was goin to go with Volk GTC Face 2

Front 19 X 9.5

Rear 19 X10.5

Thais is as big as they go in 19"
