Loan for me. I almost owned my FTO was about 6 months away from owning it. Shame it was hideously unreliable. Nice deposit though on the supra. :D

I hate owing money. Can't wait until its all paid off.

I do own a little clio outright though.

Note Im 25, and have a mortgage.

All you good people that save up before buying stuff! You must save a fortune in interest. I'm way to impatient.....and the Kitcar is about equal to a TT nowadays so I'm not too naughty I guess.

Good point about being a house owner and everything that goes along with that.

no debt, no loans. I own nobody nothing :)

However, at 2 o'clock I'm off to look at buying my first house :(

Then its debt, mortgage, loans city for me :( if I buy

Good luck with that. I've just come back from the estate agents looking at an upgrade. I guess that's why my thoughts have turned to this.

LOANS BABY YEAH!

I'm 24 and £31k in debt and loving it.

Not really bothered as living at home but paying decent rent, have a solid job (for now), and I like the things in life I can't afford immediately so I buy them on credit :) That figure includes my student loan, a £14k car loan to pay for car and clear my student credit cards, and the current £6k I owe in credit card bills mainly on repairing my car!, and working on it a little bit ;)

All is good.

Jeez Greg that's going some!

I came out of uni owing about £8k and I thought that was bad at the time. Student loans are easily manageable, but I'd watch that c/card. Evil things.

At least you seem to be enjoying it.

Well, I forgot to mention I do have £30k in savings, but that doesn't mature until I'm 25 so not all bad. I came out of uni owing my loan which was £11.5k, plus a good £6k in Credit Card debts.

My loan is easily manageable and I'm now paying off the credit too. I'll only have £10k odd to pay in 2 years time and the savings could obviously pay that off :)

Nick - ah, ha, ha, I remember that programme well - although it's normally centered around women I believe :)
