Mad Matt Posted November 27, 2006 Share Posted November 27, 2006 Some of you remember i was collecting for NSPCC at JAE for the Cannonball 8000 2006, London to Budapest in 73 hours event! Well.... if you're awake and bored at 11 pm TONIGHT (TUES 28th!!), put ITV on, and its on for an hour for its first TV screening, then it'll be on on Men and Motors about 100 times over Xmas. I'm in the Black R34 V-Spec 2 Skyline, (Car 49), and we ended up racing on wheelchairs in Brussels airport, won an award for perseverance and determination and finished the race in a gold hire car Skoda Octavia Diesel!! So.... we've been yold we're in it loads!! Preview of the dvd is on http://www.cannonball8000.com too, and we made it onto that 3 times in 1 minute 20 seconds, first car shown following the camera car, and again after 30 seconds, and then last car shown!! Plus, getting the award for it was amazing! We broke down outside of Brussels, and had to fly to Milan, then back across to Prague to get a hire car so we could finish the race in the Skod Missile!! Should be a laugh to see the full thing tonight for the first time!! And..... out of 122 cars, we placed 68th!!! not bad considering!
