So it's 1pm in Berko - gives me time to hopefully wash mine too as she is a filthy lady right now! Not had chance to wash since driving to Carlisle at Christmas!! My seatbelt light is still lit up for no reason so hopefully someone can check it for me :)

So where are we going after Berko - not been to a meet before - got to watch my speed as I don't want police behind me again

Good to see you all folks - nice to catch up and have a pow-wow again.

Thanks for thinking of step-free access Foodfreak!

And Terry, thanks for, urm, driving past the pub - albeit sounding rather nice.

Sorry I didn't make it to Watemead, went to get gas, pertrol station ran out, went to another, forecourt pump died - so I finally got filled up elsewhere and went home :-/

Hey kids,

Nice to meet you all. I'd only met one or two people who were at this meet before, so was nice to see a few more. Still loads I didn't get a chance to talk to, but these things tend to (repeatedly) happen. Terry's car sounded very nice indeed as it did the two drivebys.. was wondering if he was coming in but apparently not :)

Decent little blast down the A41.. Rob, if I knew you needed petrol I'd have told you to avoid the Texaco, they've had nothing for a week :) Oh well..

Still, a good turnout, and much as expected the pub had forgotten we were coming ("Next time if you give us some advanced notice, we'll set aside a section of the pub for you" "I called 5 weeks ago" "err.. oh.. I guess we must've lost it in the Christmas rush then") but still we had the entire rear carpark and enough room for all of us which was a good result.

See? It's not just the southerners that can do a meet.. we'll have to do it again sometime :) I think I counted 24 turning up at the end, but I'm not sure if that includes one that left. Watermead in the summer is great on the lake, will have to keep it in mind for later.

Sorry guys, I was in the middle of trimming the map for the new injectors, which was a PITA. I am sure there will be a local one again soon:thumbs:

Good to meet up today - didn't get chance to meet everyone or get people's names but saw some lovely cars :)

Forgot to put my neons on coming back from Aylesbury :conf: - nevermind put them on anyway for driving round the shops! I fancy going down to this Southampton meet (despite having lots of boring other things I should be doing) - is anyone else going to that?

Was good to meet those of you i spoke too, Stu & (brave) co-pilot Michelle, good blast down the A41, sorry about the finger, but i owed you it after you beat me back from Hatfield!

I think Nick & his missus cheated, they have no wing and so had less drag! plus i didn't know where i was going... excuses, excuses...

Flash you should have stayed for the drive to Aylesbury!

and i'm not sure who this Terry guy is, but his car sounded the bollocks!

Hi All

PC's been down most of the day, so only just had the chance to log on.

Was good to put faces to names etc. Have to admit to realising I really don't have any knowledge of cars as soon as the bonnet is "Popped". Everything I saw looked impressive none-the-less!

Who's motor was it with the graphics down the side? Thats one hell of a looker - the car of course. (Not sure about the shiny Fire Extinguisher in the boot - would be a bi-itch to get at in an emergency!):D

Is it Pat's that is the Golden Brown(ish) colour without a spoiler ? Whosever it is - its the best coulour example I have seen so far - assume its not standard issue?

Stu - If I could have taped your Exhaust Sounds at the end, I could save myself a wedge!

Getaway - unfortunately, I completely under-estimated how long it would go on for (assumed the cruise was going to be mainly in daylight!) and had to head off the other way. I assume you managed to get out of the car park without losing too much of the car.

Batgirl - If you (or anyone) could tell me where you got the "Atari-esque" gear lever from - cool as  Seriously, would appreciate any clues as to where? How much etc. Was very impressed with your motor, those wheels are just immensely gorgeous.

Well, am glad to having my car back to being one of the best in the car park - rather than having to park far away in the corner to avoid the stares of all the cool kids on the block. Some (ok - most) of the motors on show looked the dogs nuts.

Now off to see how much it costs to install a decent exhaust (Was almost embarassed to drive off with my Mute standard), decent stereo, some flashy neons and a seatbelt light that stays on - cool!

See you all again soon - when I hope to have learnt a bit more and can offer more incisive comments than..." Its a clean engine!!"
