Dnk
Does or has anyone used Uniroyal Rainsport 3's ? Need to buy a set of new tyres and these seem to get good reviews and aren't silly money
Chris Wilson
I haven't knowingly driven anything rapid on these in the wet, but historically I have always rated Uniroyal wet weather tyres as amongst the very best in the rain, I would say they would be a good bet if you do a lot of daily driving in the UK
Dnk
I'm assuming if they are that good in the wet then they're not going to last that long mileage wise

Dnk
For supra No not on a Supra but anyone using them on any car i'd be interested to get feed back from, i'm interested to know how well they do mileage wise as well as performance
AC93
They are good tyres in the wet and dry. But don't last as long as some others, although probably longer than a set of Contis
Havard
Same tread pattern to the Vredestein Sessantas. My TT was brilliant in the wet with the Vreds so would hope these are the same. Didn't last that long but they were abused wherever possible. I will be looking at these once I need a new set.
samdale
I've got them on the front of my daily MK2 MR2. Driven hard on crappy single track roads in all weathers and they cope very well. Will probably see me 10k+ miles no bother at the rate they're going. Ive done around 5k on them but only do c.5k per year so ask me again in another year or so. Dnk
Spent a chunk of time going through lots of reviews and balancing all the factors including price i think i'm going to put a set of Vredestein Ultrac Vortis on the car. Got the Vortis on my track car and they do grip very well in the dry, never really tried them in the wet though. H.

Dnk
I know the MPS4 is a good tyre but are they really worth paying the extra compared to the Vorti's which also get very similar reviews MPS4 £468 VUV £360 for the set
Sheefa
I've had mine in the daily for around 2k miles now Dunk and they are awesome. I shoukd get around 35k miles out of them too maybe more given I got 33k out of the softer Super Sports.
Dnk
Thats impressive if you get that many miles out of them and if so makes them worth the extra, the Avons i have on it only just done a tad over 10k on the rear

I really do rate them mate and for an extra hundred pounds or so the the additional mileage it does make sense. I can't comment on the Veds though as not had them before. Josh42
Other half used the RS3’s on her Celica VVTLi. Cannot fault them whatsoever. Great grip in wet and dry conditions, not too noisy either. Will buy again.

Jellybean
I run Goodyear Eagle F1 , only changed the tyres twice on the Supra in 10 years , put 88K KM on her, tyres still have plenty of thread , current set also have 1 track day
HarleyFDMD
Uniroyals have an incredibly soft side wall! I wouldnt want them on mine personally. I fit them regularly at work and can literally put the tyres on the rims with just my bare hands. Id say they were too soft for a performance orientated car
Dnk
The Vredesteins are on now, i'll get a few miles on them and then see how well they perform
