LOL, a nut swinger is any person that feels the constant need to "follow" or "praise" another person in any various types of ways.....because they feel that the person is such a "God" for whatever reason they see fit.

Generally, it's noticed that some board members will "swing from the nuts" (LMAO!) of board moderators (just as a "real world" example).

Basically, a nut swinger is an ass-kisser.....nut swinging is just another term that was invented on discussion boards I think, lol.

or or

I'm even humored by explaining this

Sh*t! There's no way I'm gonna be kissing Aerotop Daves butt! (and I'm sure he's not offering)...and I'm pretty sure he's not a God.

Thanks for the answer though.

haha....actually, the MKIV targa isn't all that bad, especially once you have it figured out.

Dealing with the major leaks of my old 85 T-top mustang years back was nothing but D R A M A

Talk about piss poor engineering on a cheap, domestic vehicle!

so.... us Brits are all "nut swingers" BUT you have the ability to give "Reputation" points on this forum to members you wish to "ass-kiss"

seems logical,.... NOT

i would just like to say yes im from the UK, no im not a nut swinger

down to business,

i have stripped and built a few supras to and from bare shells including targas, i know the mkiv inside out, anybody who knows me and my work will tell you i know my job, i have also been on an intensive water ingress courses (3 weeks training for each model) as i have been quality controler and warranty inspector for astonmartin, ford, jaguar and ferrari

the little wings will never stop water !! how can they be a water tight seal ? the holes that are left when you take the screws out will relieve pressure from the plastic plate and alow water underneath it, the wings do nothing all you need to do is leave the screws in

how can you guys waffle on about something so simple i actually fell asleep half way through some of your posts blkturbo! !!!!!

You know I really didn't want to be negative here but you really have, now how do you put it in yank speak??? Oh yes issues. Your interpersonel skills really need work. The term asshole and other derogatory remarks may impress a few passing 15 year olds or maybe even the odd imbecile but fully grown adults might have difficulty not thinking of you as a bit of a muppet with low self esteem and small man syndrome. Its almost like anyting that is said to you is taken as a personal insult. Man we are not trying to insult you so do us a favour and not go straight on the offensive with unnecessary expletives and overly heavy amounts of aggression. Not one of us questioned your technical knowledge or abilities until you started to attack us on a personal level. Just a suggestion but perhaps you could do with taking a chill pill or one of the numerous human skills courses that are available in your fair land. Stress is one of the biggest killers of males worldwide try working yours off in the real world instead of on a keyboard and your online ettiquette may take a turn for the better.

It's something the Yanks do with a vengeance and take very seriously on their forums.

On my last board there was more discussion and whinging about "Karma" points than almost anything else in the USA feedback forum. They hate it if someone gives them negative feedback and can get really upset if they think they're being targetted for no reason (hint). Poeple have been banned over it.

voting for it might not be the problem, implementing it might be. Some of the mods for VBB slot right in, others take a shit load of work and customisation to run properly and Mawbs is the main man for that sort of stuff.

I will point the other mods off to that rating system and see what they think.

It's on my list. ;) It'll have to wait for the upgrade though as then we shouldn't need to do any actual hacking. :looney:
