Started on the engine bay. Forgot just how much work is involved in this process. We are going to fully smooth the front part of the bay.

 

Heated up the humps and gave them a good hammering this morning. Also got the turret top plates welded/brazed into place (cheers baldy) he supplied the panels. Looks a bit rough at the moment but we have not started grinding the welds back yet.

Been working on a little project last few days. I wanted to keep some of the little features which were on the car and give it that little race look inside the car. Originally the car had a auto panel so I located a new manual surround and cut a little sheet of carbon to make the template to hold the battery kill/inhibitor switch. Added a tan leather gator to match the rest of my interior.

 

This obviously stops me from having a cigarette compartment but I don't smoke and not needed. Also had a lovely box arrive with the manifold back from the Chromers, looks amazing now, I'm really happy with the quality.
