inazone
Paul what size waste gate are you using on the mk3's? Have you kept it internal or have you managed to use an external one?
Paul Whiffin
Paul what size waste gate are you using on the mk3's? Have you kept it internal or have you managed to use an external one? They run a modified enlarged wastegate which is much bigger than standard, no need for an external one. JMB
Price should be around £1800 including vat on an exchange basis, that's what we are aiming at. You don't need a built engine no, the standard engine will take around 700bhp if it's in good working condition. with the mk3, you aim more bhp then the mk2 ? how much ? Paul Whiffin
with the mk3, you aim more bhp then the mk2 ? how much ? The aim for these turbos is to provide 500bhp on pump fuel, anymore than that will be a bonus! Just waiting for a set to be made at the moment, then fitted to a car, at a guess another 4 weeks until this car is tested.

Paul Whiffin
Any updates on these turbos Paul? Not yet, we are waiting for the car to arrive so we can fit the Syvecs and Whifbitz 264 cams to see what the revision 3 billet hybrids will do. At a guess about 3 weeks away approx. There is no official price yet, the mk3 version is being tested in about 3 weeks time. More info when it's available.

Paul Whiffin
Well it's good news, they made 492bhp at only 1.3 bar on Shell V-Power, the dyno was red hot today as well so I'm pretty confident they will make over 500bhp with lower intake temps. As you can imagine we are very happy with these results as they fill the gap between going single and the stock turbos. I'll put up a dyno sheet and pricing very soon. SupraD06
Fantastic result Paul. Looking forward to the details on spec and pricing. On any of these runs is there still work been done to the manifold? Or 'Y' piece?
Paul Whiffin
Fantastic result Paul. Looking forward to the details on spec and pricing. On any of these runs is there still work been done to the manifold? Or 'Y' piece? The manifold is ported and flowed to its maximum and the y-piece is bored out to 3" again with porting and polishing to remove as much restriction as possible. This particular car had Whifbitz 264 cams, Whifbitz 3" single box exhaust and Whifbitz 3" Decats, Whifbitz front mount intercooler kit, Sard 800cc injectors, Spec clutch and of course a Syvecs ecu. Hi mate will you be offering the porting service for the manifolds and Y-piece?? Like on a exchange basis? Thats some great results. Make the supra a true 500bhp car and keep the stock look and feel off the car. Im very intrested Edited June 24, 2014 by Hassan (see edit history)

Sukhy
Great result Paul. I guess they work in sequential mode and not TTC?
Paul Whiffin
Great result Paul. I guess they work in sequential mode and not TTC? We've done 2 cars in TTC and one in sequential so far, so either will work just fine.
Paul Whiffin
Hi mate will you be offering the porting service for the manifolds and Y-piece?? Like on a exchange basis? I'm afraid not no, only available as complete units. We may end up making a dedicated manifold and y-piece in the future though to push the power output up a bit further.
