Jamie said almost the same thing I believe, 600bhp was better than 1000+

I also remember Jamie saying 600 is boring 800 is fun and 1000+ is insane! Imo it all comes down to balls and money and if you have both, then why not...

I don't understand the 430whp figure on standard turbos. Wouldn't it be more like 430fwhp which would be less than 400hp at the wheels.

American horsepower dude, the general consensus is that american dyno's read high, because no other cars in the world match the power they make with similar mods..... unless they know something we don't and aren't telling us! :)

Exactly!! i have always admired what he does to his motors but he has had haters along the way, same as anyone who does stuff out the norm. I like this vid is was a good find

700HP - That's the limit in the UK. Anything more is silly and you can't take advantage of it.

I don't even have mine running at 700 yet and I'm already looking for the next turbo to go further, it's a viscous problem to always want to be the fastest :(!

I've seen that one before, but yeah, good vid so always good for a re-watch. :)

Also, regarding this:

...600 wheel horsepower, proper coilover suspension, big brakes, racing seats, clean lines, no ugly bodykits: this is the way to do a Supra.

I couldn't agree more.
