Pulled old block apart last night.

looks like its suffered from oil pressure and bore wash...

shells are knackered and show signs of extreme heat and bores are scratched to hell

also my t61 turbo bearings are so loose the fin's are touching the turbo housing !

On the plus side I have just bought a Turbonetics T66 Turbo with T4 Flange should give me all the boost I will ever need.

Going to clean up the engine bay and rebuilding old engine so will have a great setup soon ready for some big power.

signs point to oil pump failed as turbo bearing are shagged and the mains

also strong smell of petrol throughout the block and head

the bores are scraped to hell

they have denied any responsibility claiming its just one of them things that happen

I do have an oil pressure gauge fitted that they paid no attention too
