Small update:

1: new interior carpet ordered, original has some marks and wear patches.

So decided to order a new one, with the back seat mold + another 2 yards to finish the trunk off.

All from the same sheet of fabric. So should look absolutely tidy when installed.

2. With the above in mind, i have now decided, even though the cage will go in. I am going to putt all interior in too.

Went and got some interior plastics today. Those will be cleaned and sprayed black, after that the rear seat needs a small repair, but i was thinking of having it done in black leather equal to the oem type.

3: new isolation/ damping materials ordered to place before the carpet arrives.

Treated some interior parts of the chassis to some extra insulation today,

DEI boom mat spray on insulation. Treated the parts which will not have padding applied to them.

The car was already nice and quiet inside. So this will make the car a lot more enjoyable

On longer trips.

Next step is applying the sound/heat insulation and test fit the cage.

Finished applying the extra insulation yesterday.

Just waiting for the new carpet now.

Also started to refresh all the interior plastics in a nice

Coat of black paint for these parts.

We've used special VHT paint which has been made for these items.

Will not flake or fade. Works very well.

Last foot mounting point done last saturday, starting on the boot now,

Rear seats will go to the upholstery company soon (I reckon after JAE or just before)

she will put the same type of leather on, but then in black with red stitching.

Alternatively i may go for the same fabric as the Bride seats,

but i reckon keeping to the leather will make it a little more universal but also easier to clean.

Please excuse the bonnet and wiring, that will all be gone soon,

Complete Custom wiring harness will be made and also new OEM bonnet with louvres to be painted and installed (i may even have it wrapped)
