johnny g
Moved to Supra Chat - can you also choose a better name for your thread. Go to Edit Post --> Go Advanced, then edit the title. And please search for the turbo conversions, been done to death.

Josh
i duno hardly enythnk about them, im a honda guy atm i dont want silly power I went from a 1.9tdi Golf to this (now 356bhp) less than a year ago, and I found the power very controllable and have now got used to it. If you can, definitely go TT.

Guest JohnSupra1
Don't Bother Buying NA, if are you going to put TT engine in, Cost £1500 engine alone and labour fitting. Sound waste of money if you convert it Buy Nice TT, It save Twice
Guest PhillRC
The insurance will kill me on a tt and I can do the engine swap myself
Neil-NA
The insurance will kill me on a tt and I can do the engine swap myself The insurance will be even more i think once you have dropped a TT lump in an NA.

Thorin
Is someone suggesting they are going to illegally neglect to inform their insurance company of an engine swap so as to avoid paying insurance for a car they can't afford? On a public forum? Surely not.
Josh
Around the 300 - 360 bhp mark Then definitely go TT from the start. It'll be easier.
pedrosixfour
Around the 300 - 360 bhp mark What about a 300bhp NA? I'd like to see that. If Honda can get 100bhp/litre from an NA why not do the same to the Supra.
-Welsh-Stealth-
For that power a NA-T will see you there. But cost you the conversion. Even fitting yourself... But a TT should be good for it.just have to pay that little bit more.& if you get bored, BPU it lots of pro's & con's either way. Just depends what you want& what suits you And if I remember when I was going to insure my car originally the Turbo option was cheaper?! Not sure if this was the same for anyone else??? Lbm
The insurance will kill me on a tt and I can do the engine swap myself You would of course inform your insurance company of any changes, yes?

l33wgn
That's because you can't be trusted and it would seem justified
