Thicker HG to lower compression work, but they royally screw up the squish area. Not the best way of lowering the CR IMO, but it's cheap. You pays your money and makes your choice.

:yeahthat:

Right on the money there. Although the TT and NA share the same squish area they achieve this by two different ways so whilst adding a thicker HG seems a quick way to gain some headroom for boost you could also introduce engine killing det not to mention the engine probly wont peform as well as its should.

so would you recommend tt pistons too then mate? i cant see what the problem is with just using the hg and uprated bolts as im not aiming for bhp over 400.

when you say uprated h/g , do you mean same thickness but stronger because that will be fine . you wont need tt pistons with stock injectors but if you ever want to go for higher numbers they will be needed

hi craig im going with stock injectors for the time being, sent boost logic a email today about the stage 1 kit just waiting a reply to see what they can do it for.
