Not going after anyone with this, not my style.

Mine neither, that pipe was made so that Dean could get to Suprapod, it held 1.2bar fine although looks naff but it was as a result of the HKS and BL manifolds being quite dimensionally different. Dean and I said that there was more to do after the Pod.

Oh, and agreed on the FPR\Nos wiring, it was worse before !

Cars been put in to Pauls place as he was able to fit me straight in, and like AFR and Phoenix he has a good reputation, some of the areas in in need of finishing in the photo's were a result of needing the car back to go to the pod as stated so was aware

I am just looking forward to getting it back and the work Whifbitz has taken on for me is in the main cosmetic but this car stands me for a LOT of dough and I want it to be as good as my wallet will allow

It has been through several tuners in the last couple of years and every tuner has their own opinion on how things should be/should have been done, there is always something that looks like it could have been done better, that includes Phoenix, AFR, Turbofit, TDI etc, I have used them all

This car has had another £5,000 spent in a couple of months, I just hope the end results make it one of the best, and most of all fun to drive again :)

Look forward to the after pics early next week to see what £1000+ worth of parts does for the look :D

Sure you'll be happy with it Dean.. shout his praise a bit, but Paul has helped me loads over the past 4 years with my motor, mainly just "up keep" and a few mods (+ loads of advice), but have also seen him, Darren and the team working on pauls car and the other two Time attack cars plus the Rx7 and they def' know what they want to achieve and have a high standard..

(By no way saying that other garages don't!!, just that i know first hand of Garage whifbitz standard of work)..

As said previously it will be the nuts when done, Enjoy it!!..

Ok, took a few pics, it was getting dark so there not that great! The turbo and water elbow just showed up a few minutes ago so got to bolt that on tomorrow. Also K/N filter arrived today along with a nice shiny new alloy intake pipe. With also given the engine bay a lick of paint where required as it was scratched up badly. Its going to look nice when its all back together.

Water injection moved to boot, between back seat and strut brace. Custom made alloy water tank.

HKS DLi moved and FPR remounted.

Greddy pullies and billet tensioner pulley, cleans the front up no end.

Looking very tidy Dean, it's soooo difficult getting the engine bay tidy IMHO, there's always a mess of pipes & wires going from one thing to another, the Yanks seem to be able to pull off very clean bays

So true and to be honest my car has had enough spent on it, however as always I am never happy and the cosmetic changes seem to keep a smile on my face, I fully agree the US (and Supradibbs) have a knack of making the engine bay clutter free, mine will look very much improved, the cost of cosmetic engine bays is something worth thinking about before you go and make the decision to do this however, it does NOT come cheap to do right :)

A few more pics for you, just got to mount the water injection jet and sort your catch tank.

Water neck, both water take offs welded up and polished. Water feed for turbo moved to clear new air intake pipe.

New alloy IC pipe made from scratch from turbo to intercooler

Much neater than it was. You'll also notice plenty of heat shielding round the back of the turbo protecting the master cylinders from the heat. I'll post another pic up as soon as its completely finished off.
