  1. I had a silicon hose made for this along with a custom made hard pipe but that was to fit the uk spec maf, i used mikalor clamps and never had a problem. Their way better than thin jubilee style clamps that cut into the hose
  2. Pretty sure you could do them if you wanted to, you'd just need to do more masking

I don't think it'll be that sporty but who knows. Too be honest it wasn't that hard to watch it drive off, 15 years of mkivs has been enough. they are great cars but it was definitely time to move on.

It took a while but went very well in the end. The original buyer from France bought the car I don't know whats next, i'm kind of going round in circles at the moment as to what i want It won't be a Lambo

    Off to France

The French buyers came today and did the deal on my car. No haggling and paid the asking price so i'm very happy with that. It should now be heading south to a warmer climate.
  14. My R spec fits behind mine no problem, i also drilled the crash bar to fit a mesh screen infront of the IC for extra protection which works a treat
  15. It just bolts onto the end of the chassis rails
  16. Thanks for the link H The difference is what each charger can look after and charge the 3.6 will charge up to 75a/h where the 5.0 will go up to 110a/h
  17. Thanks for the replies, here's a link to the CTEK MXS 5.0 charger/conditioner. http://www.ctek-chargers.com/?gclid=CLLjxJX9qLYCFUbKtAodd1UAcg Halfords stock them for £64.99 so i shall be popping down there later
  18. My first thought was i'd be having a proper look at the rest of the car before fixing this part
  19. Which CTEK are you guys using ? I assume these can be used with the battery still connected to the car ?

    Exhaust

Do you have j spec or UK spec ? if UK you won't need a restrictor ring on the twin set set up
  21. http://www.gomog.com/allmorgan/wheeloffset.html Here's some useful info for you
  22. The easiest thing to do is jack the car up and undo all 5 wheel nuts, make sure the wheel is sitting flat against the hub and do up all the nuts finger tight. It should be pretty obvious if the tapers on the nuts are sitting correctly in the tapers in the wheel holes
  23. Here's a bit of a sketch to show what i mean hopefully The wheel is in black showing the hole, the stud is red and the nut in blue, if the pcd of the wheel is too big or too small the chamfer on the nut will try to pull the stud over because its not sitting in the centre of the hole in the wheel. Hence the wobble nuts were fitted
