Chris, we have had 3 brand new one's from Toyota fail within 30 seconds of starting the car. Each time we have put it down to being pinched when being pressed in however we had another one do it on Saturday on a newly built engine, instead of just accepting a bad installation we looked closely at the seal and compared it to another new one, the spring on the failed seal was not as far back as the new seal and was quite loose, we then opened and looked at 5 more seals and found another 2 that were the same as the failed one. We have sent the seals back to Toyota for inspection and will post the reply when we get one back.

Myself and Sam would like to thank each and everyone of you who came along today. Whilst we tried our hardest to make everything go to plan we had no control over the gentleman who was to supply the Rolling Road for today, despite his repeat assurances that he would be there and over a months notice, he failed not only to show up but also did not bother to phone us or Jaimep to let us know there was any sort of problem, rest assured that he will be in for a rough time when we get hold of him. Yes the AEM can control the nitrous, however once it is set if conditions change then it would need to be re-mapped. I like to be able to just click the micro switch as when I want it. Not the best way to run No2 I know but it suits me:p

Car now painted with a couple of bits of black added here and there. Just got to be polished and then it's done Yahoooooooooo!!!!!!! Next week the build up can begin:d Will post lot's of pics.

That is just the 1st coat there is another 3 coats of that candy yellow to go and then 5 coats of clear. Must say though that the pictures really do not show how bright it is in the flesh, I had to look away after a couple of mins as my eyes started to hurt:d Even if the car does not start off fast this season at least people will know it was there:) Car will be out front on Sunday, no engine though just yet;)

Just finished an NA 5 speed to 6 speed today, below is a list of items you will need other than the Box. 1: TT Flywheel (Plus Flywheel Bolts) 2: TT Clutch ( Plus Cover Plate Bolts) 3: TT Slave Cyl (Including Rod) 4: TT Release Bearing 5: Crankshaft inner bearing 6: TT Clutch Fork and Retainer 7: TT Prop Shaft (Front & Back) 8: TT Diff 9: Reverse light plug (TT and NA are different) Other than that the change over is quite straight forward.

The noise will drive you MAD, trust me I drove the Turbofit Supra to the Ace cafe meet and both me and Sam dreaded the thought of driving back in it.
