  1. if you get a call from them saying it doesn't fit, it's because the front impact bar usually needs to be removed to allow it to fit look forward to seeing it
  2. you saying i'm poor or something yeah i just figured i'd almost be there anyway with coming as far as the M6 on the M55 so the Tickled Trout is only another junction or two, rather than meeting you all the way up at Lancaster, and i can convoy along from the start then do you want to drive at 56mph the whole way too to make it more economical for me? you barstard...
  3. definitely agree with this to get start & you can always upgrade in the future from a cheaper set i've found the 1200s just as nice as the 1210s but the cheaper Numarks & Gemini that i've tried have also been alot more forgiving, in terms of needle jumps & finding the pitch more easily if you've got money to burn, then the new Pioneer CD decks are fantastic & you can still scratch away with them too! personally, i found more pleasure in spending a little more on the mixer too to get some of the extra bits like flange effects & sample recordings too
  4. looks like fun this & would love to see one of the Atoms in the flesh! i'm assuming it's going to be 'low bumper friendly' 1. AJI 2. jock 3. jim_supra 4. supra-man 5. Dazsir 6. Gaz Walker 7. 6. the Apexi AVC-R will allow you to set different boost levels for each gear and can also learn the characteristics of your car to try & smooth out the spikes as it finds them not sure about other electronic controllers
  7. frightening! i always seem to wait for it to switch off anyway just in case of this - completely pointless having it eh?!
  8. agreed - that bonnet suits a black supra so well
  9. lol i was just trying to save everyone having to look at the UK spec
  10. the motorway cruise was brilliant i did however lose my bottle at one point and then decided not to go above a certain speed again after that! @Carlos - i hope mine is still pulling as strong as that at 100k+ miles! that Rex was well up for too & he is even more insane than us! once i reached my limit i kept backing off & then he'd catch & keep going! i'd love to know what spec he was running nice to see you all look forward to next month since i'll miss out on JAE/TOTB @Gaz - i like the way you saved the best pic till last
  11. spotted the yellow one (with i think a Veilside wing) on Sunday driving past the Tesco in Marton, hadn't seen it before but the wife had told me about it the bronze one with light blue graphics down the side i saw today on the prom in town as we were heading to Subway howdi
  12. and it's wingless of course
  13. i've only ever let 2 people drive my baby: garethEves (a fellow supra owner who just wanted to try the auto out, whilst i was driving his) and my dad (who had it for one afternoon & managed to destroy my front bumper in a car park incident) the wife? she has managed to do something classed as damage to every car previous to this that i've owned, therefore, NO. it's for her own good
  14. i'll try & get to the shell for just after 6. if i can't get there in time i'll give one of you a bell to let you know & just meet you there
  15. one silver supra making the shovels car park look good /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_grin.gif
  16. saw you up near the Oxford pub heading towards Stanley Park tonight don't think i've seen you about before

    BPU help

so even with no restrictor ring it won't go over the stock boost levels? but it's consistently holding that boost & coming in at the right times too?
  19. wez_p

    BPU help

is the boost it does get to being maintained solidly? i wonder if there is a small leak that is stopping it from getting any higher? or a stuck wastegate / boost control valve / BOV if any of those would cause this type of behaviour?

    BPU help

does it FEEL any different? just wondering whether it could be the boost meter that isn't read right? be careful if you try it without the restrictor ring altogether, doesn't the HKS FCD leave you a little more susceptible if you over boost?
  21. it just seemed to be a 5 mile perimeter around Elvington as i was approaching this darkness appeared & it started raining. i couldn't believe it! there were puddles all over the track & the commentator was saying about being careful of the aquaplaning (i remember seeing a few go spinning off onto the fields last time) so after waiting around for an hour & sampling the hotdogs i figured it would never dry up in time to get a decent dry run & i already have wet times @Mike - Gareth couldn't make it in the end, good job really @Mark - cheers, were you one of the guys chatting to Steve while i was loitering? should have said hi. Steve's is quite a machine isn't it so i drove all the way home again
