  2. don't think they declare an octane value for it http://www.shell.com/us/vpower/ but these guys seem to know some stuff on it http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?f=57&h=0&t=298727
  3. he's showing me how to tidy up those little scuffs & touch them up
  4. can't remember chap sorry, but they weren't expensive packet says 704 - BCPR7ES NGK Copper Core i'm possibly down at Cavs on bank hol monday, if you're about then?
  5. the FAQ says they're compatible with singles so looks like they're the ones yours if you want em
  6. just in case someone's about to buy 2 packs of 4, to use only 6 of them, i've got 2 here that i'm not going to be using that are brand new from when i bought 2 packs of 4 from Halfords! if they're any use to you then they're yours for the price of postage or i can bring them along to Mascrat Manor, if you're in the North West
  7. took me about a month to find out that mine were on the wrong way round after picking it up from the place i bought it from!
  8. just paid 99.9 for Optimax & the bird behind the counter reckons it's going down again tomorrow
  9. nice one Ulrik i'd have both if i had money to burn but i think for what i'd use it for the DS suits me better, not to take anything away from how good the PSP is. It's just the games i would want for it i'd rather play on my PS2 or Xbox with the big screen if you know what i mean. i'm waiting to see what these are like when they come out http://www.ds-x.com yes Mike, i think Nintendo are keeping there future secure by keeping the prices so low too in comparison. If you've got the cash spare or maybe a little room on a credit card then the DS Lite has to be purchased, even if it's just for wireless head to head Mario Kart!!! (although, you can only have 8 in a multi player race so one of you will have to sit out anyway if it's you & 8 others!)
  10. I know alot of you bought the PSPs when Nic had his great deal on but anyone tried the DS? I was deciding on which of the two to go for to take away on hols & ended up going for the DS lite since it was half the price i wanted to try Mario Kart & the new Super Mario Bros after spending so much of my youth on the earlier versions! i wasn't really fussed about playing movies & MP3s on it IMO, they are completely different machines. the PSP seems to be more something that's portable but the games that i would play are ones that would be so much better on a console in your front room with a big screen & some surround sound. The DS is just brilliant for picking up & playing some quality arcade/puzzle style action & then putting down again. And, i am so impressed with the wi-fi capabilities. Being able to play against others across the globe if you have access to a wi-fi connection is quite cool, but peer to peer wi-fi against your mates is just fantastic. Especially, when you don't always need to each own the game & it just downloads the bits it needs to everyone who doesn't own it! After showing the guys at work, there's now 4 of us who play head to head Mario Kart at lunchtimes! Quality.
  11. if you don't find a second hand one, game station are doing some good deals at the mo where you can get a DS lite with any game for £109.99 best gadget i've bought in a long time
  12. my hard drive went recently in mine, but it wouldn't even power on, never mind just being able to watch the channels afaik, you can't get the files off the hard drive but they are easily replaceable as they are just normal hard drives some good info here http://forum.digitalspy.co.uk/board/showthread.php?t=156344
  13. where's that then Matt? that's blooming cheap
  14. nice one we'll hopefully get a few of us down & it won't rain, fingers crossed
  15. some absolutely fantastic pictures to choose from yet again left it to late to get something special done but here's mine from last year's Rising Sun car show
  16. lol gimp mask my arse, it was even stevens to me. i think it's the aero dynamics of having an original Do Luck bumper instead of the fake one
  17. lol! if i had hybrids & they didn't make any difference i'd be pissed off too mate seriously, i was saying that i thought it was absolutely neck & neck and that it seemed even for the 3 runs we did: 1) we were matched exactly 2) i was pulling away from you ever so slightly 3) you were pulling from me ever so slightly it seemed that whoever got on boost quicker starting pulling away quicker but once we were both on boost it was just the same, so i didn't fancy any license losing material to drive side by side i don't reckon those hybrids would do anything without a better intercooler anyway get your name down for the Elvington RWYB & then we'll get it done properly that private road we took home isn't the safest of placest is it & i've witnessed your driving from inside your car
  18. nice to meet you jase, good to see everyone else was heaving last night eh? lots of aimless parking just in front of everyone else though which is a bit annoying when you turn up early to get a decent spot & then can't leave until the guy in the black GTO decides to come back to his car same time next month?! oh and Matt, those hybrids don't seem to do much do they?
  19. anyone going from here? i turned up for July's event but it was raining again so i didn't race. Hoping for a dry day this time address is: Elvington Airfield Halifax Way, Elvington YO4 5AU cost is usually about £45 for unlimited runs oh yeah & we only race for pink slips
  20. assuming mine was the only wingless Supra there, i'm shocked at your comments! But, contrary to what Gaz says , I treat it to a Meguiars 3 stage every couple of months or so, which consists of a paint cleanser, a polish & finally a carnuba wax. I find it comes out a treat for the next few normal washes then (the last time it got the 3 stage was a month ago so i guess it must have come out ok on the weekend after a simple wash & chamois)
  21. the rain held off for most of the day but did drizzle here & there thanks AJI for organising - that last road in particular was awesome and also the very first dual carriageway which was like a roller coaster! didn't get many pics, but here's a few...
