  1. i think it's worth a try Mike, in the busier months, people park throughout the entire car park anyway, it was only recently they started to get everyone to start from the bottom end if we tell them that we just end up getting blocked in then they may allow us to choose a different section
  2. sorry to hear that Dom, i'm sure you'll be back in one sometime soon
  3. these seem to have been discontinued now - anyone got one they want to get rid of cheap?
  4. was good mate, the run down the prom was a little short compared to previous years, but it's great when it's on your doorstep for a change
  5. exactly!! just staying on the road without the distractions was hard enough for me!! and i certainly couldn't get away from the MR2 round those twisties!! in fact didn't you overtake me eventually or was that the diving down the inside moment?!
  6. bring him along dude, i'm sure he'll enjoy it? my mate is picking me up about 8ish so will try & catch you at MacDs for breakfast - we'll be in a silver GT4
  7. haha exactly! certainly tested the brakes out
  8. count me in again was a great run last year i remember coming round a bend coming back down the mountain at the end & finding the guy in the Atom facing me !
  9. maybe this can come in handy? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=49582
  10. i'm still planning on going but haven't arranged to meet anyone or anything as yet. there wasn't much confirmed interest and i've got a 'term' pregnant wife that could throw a spanner in the works at any given moment
  11. Jock organises a regular meet up in Blackpool, can't remember which day of the month it's on, but it's on a Sunday afternoon iirc Against a Supra only meet: over summer, i definitely like to see the other cars too, and have a few friends who go that aren't Supra owners. it's nice to mingle with other owners For a Supra only meet: one big annoyance at the usual Mascrat meet though is tools that just park in front of people when they turn up late, when others have turned up early to get a decent spot. plus you guys are a nice bunch to chat & eat with as much as i'd like to go to both, it would depend on other commitments & weather etc i think on which one i'd turn up to
  12. is it Michael's day off today?
  13. i'll bring it along on Monday if you like if it hasn't already gone can you sort out between you & Cav who's having that other one & sort the cash out for Monday too?
  14. hmm not really sure. it's only a small case so could only fit a couple of disks in there if you took out the floppy drive. there's 3 seperate power outputs from it, one for the DVD writer, one for the hard drive & one spare oh yeah & i forgot to say there's a Pioneer DVR-104 DVD writer in it & a network card
  15. if you're going to take the Supra drag racing, wait for the Elvington opener in March & you'll get alot more for your money & it's nowhere near as far
  16. ah, a pre-meeting meeting before the main meet? sounds like work!
  17. upgraded to flat panels so this is surplus to requirements £30 there's also a low spec PC that went with it (something like a P3 500mhz with 256mb of RAM & 20gb hard drive) - there's no OS with it but it was running XP also £30 or £50 for the pair collection only (nr Blackpool) or i can bring along to Mascrat Manor
  18. coming from Blackpool dude no probs don't forget that dvd
  19. i can pick Gaz up again on the way if need be, but not that Rob geezer
  20. i think you have to pay a small fee to get into the Pontins complex, but i'm not 100% but the stage along the promenade is definitely free
  21. coming up in a couple of weeks is the annual NW Stages Rally in Blackpool i've been the last couple of years & it makes for a good few hours of fast car action, especially along the lower promenade road, right next to the sea! full details are here http://www.nwstages.co.uk with the first cars starting at about 9.15am if anyone fancies it, we could meet up at the usual Morrisons car park about 8am-ish & grab some breakfast at McDonalds, and then head down to the prom after that? about lunchtime they then have some more racing in the Pontins complex
  22. does anyone know if other insurers will honour your agreed value if you're involved in a non-fault accident & they're paying? sorry for the slight OT
  23. if i thought Charlton would beat them i'd go
