  1. I m looking for an exhaust for my TT supra. would like something with a deep note but not obnoxiously loud, but mainly I need something which doesnt hang too low and can go over speed breakers and bumpy roads without knocking. Any suggestions? Cheers
  2. Peter, what do you mean the proper rear spats. I was under the impression that the ones on my car were the OEM option??? Also, do you ll think a Blitz side skirt would go with the stock ish look ok

  4. Ian why exactly do u say that, have there been many instances of built or rebuilt engines failing??? I was thinking of fitting a new shortblock (blueprinted by MVP) or going for a built setup.

  7. Anyone know if the Emanage ultimate's connectors can be bought separately??? I ve managed to crack the middle connector by mistake, accidentally dropped a very heavy object on the loom.

  9. Just a thought, I ve got a Coolingmist basic water injetion kit lying around at home. Although its got a boost on switch, I d like to be able to control it progressively. Would I be able to control it with the EMU and configure it to run as a SUB injector and vary its duty cycle etc??? Cheers
  10. I had a 5spd on for a while after doing a TT conversion. It will take stock TT power and moderate BPU levels providing u get an RPS clutch.

  15. Ya I/J harness wired to the IN side of the EMU. Ian, I tried the combinations you ve mentioned, the only one that makes any difference is (Before: 440cc, 0.9lag After: 440cc, 0.0lag). The RPM just drops to 950-1000 momentarily but makes it way back to 1250 where it idles very rough and misfires when I blip the throttle. I m going to remove the EMU today and go over the wiring once again. Could something like this be caused by a faulty unit?
  16. I ve got a wideband but not installed yet since I m on stock turbos. Will only be installing it when I install the single setup. Tried 0.04 for I/J lag time but it made no difference. Just to confirm, the red wire on the Injector adapter #2 is supposed to connect to a 12v power source, right?
  17. Oh sorry, just checked and the default I/J lag time for 2JZ-GTE is 0.9 but either way, even with the default settings the car just starts running at much higher RPM.
  18. Thanks for the reply mate! I initially left the standard lag time which was 0.40 and it was idling at 1330 RPM ish. When I reconfigured it to 0.00 then the idling dropped down marginally to 1250.
  19. I ve just wired up my Emanage Ultimate into a fields harness and installed it. I m on stock injectors and stock turbos but once I connect the EMU to the supra the car runs rough and the RPM idles between 1250-1300. This is with everything zero'd (& I/J lag time set to 0.0). However, I did notice that the water temp reading on the data log never seems to exceed 55-59 deg C. Suspecting a busted water temp sensor, I ve even installed a new one today but that didnt sort out anything. Any clues on what the issue could be? Cheers
  20. I m in the process of wiring up my EMU to the fields harness but I m a bit stuck with wiring the AEM UEGO wideband unit to the EMU. There are 4 wires on the AEM unit RED (12v), Black (ground), White (0-5v output), Blue (serial output). Additionally, there are two wires on the EMU A/F harness, one of which is White and the other wire is Grey. Does anyone know for sure that the (0-5v output) from the AEM unit connects to the white wire on the harness or the grey one? Cheers

Is it necessary to have a boost gauge when one is using a Electronic boost controller such as a HKS EVC 6 or so??? because the controller themselves display boost, plus you can set warning and cut off limits right? Just curious cuz if its ok I m planning to remove the boost gauge for provision for other gauges for my single install.

  24. The HKS EVC 6 looks great IMO. But cant find anyone who s used it and given some positive feedback so trying to find some reviews on other forums.
