Just completed my T61 single conversion, my specs are as follows: Stock 2jzgte block Emanage Ultimate Power Enterprise 650cc injectors Precision T61 turbo AEM Wideband As soon as I fired up the engine the car started fine but obviously running pig rich. I then changed the global injector adj. map to 650cc/ 0.0 lag and the car ran a little less rich but still hovering around the 10.1 range. Soon after the engine just kinda died and refuses to start after that. It just keeps cranking over without life. Have I flooded my engine??? I thought the global I/J adjustmet should get the 650cc idling like stock??? Any help would be great Cheers adi
  2. I ve just about completed my T61 single turbo install and should be firing up the engine today evening. However, I m curious to know what I/J lag times people use for the Power Enterprise 650cc injectors??? I m using a Emanage Ultimate to control fuelling, current setting for stock 440cc injectors are 0.0 lag. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers adi
  3. I was under the thought that these shurflo pumps needed to be mounted near the water source as they dont have great 'suction' ability???
  4. I spent the last two days removing the twin turbos and finally got them off. However, once they were off I noticed that the stock oil return hose was in such bad shape that it was almost disintegrating and bits of rubber would just fall out as I pulled out the hose. I m a bit concerned now though as I m worried that I might have couple of bits of rubber gunk in my sump, should I take the sump out and check it out or is there no real need to worry??? There were no Oil leaks from the line at all however. I ll get some pics up soon

  10. I m gonna have a brand new blueprinted shortblock going into my TT and along with that I was thinking of getting a new head. I m pretty much going in for a new stock head with new valves, springs, HKS cams etc. I ve been looking at the Brian Crower valves, springs and retainers. However, it seems that a complete set of BC in/ex valves (only) costs 410$ as opposed to the stock Toyota valves which cost about 600$. Could this have anything to do with quality at all??? Which would you ll recommend??? Furthermore, I ve been told to go in for shimless buckets instead of shimmed buckets. Does it make a considerable difference??? Cheers adi
  11. I had a 5spd in my TT transplant for a while. Great acceleration, but a bit high revving to use regularly on motorways etc. But fantastic for the quick bursts, my clutch did give way though so I d recommend a RPS max if you plan to stick to stock-BPU levels of power
  12. Hi everyone, I m just wondering what the general choice of cams are for a T61 turbo. I was thinking of going 264in/264ex but as I go through some profiles I see that many people using turbo's between T61-T67 seem to be using the 256in/264ex combination. What would be the benefit of running 256in cams VS running a 264in cam??? Cheers adi

  14. Yes actually I think it is about then. I was under the impression that it might be some loose connections in the wiring loom but now since you say that it is common I m not sure. This never used to happen, I ve just noticed it the past 2 weeks.
  15. No I ve got a Greddy BCC installed and it happens much before full boost. I dont have traction control on my car since its a NA-TT swap
  16. Hi Guys, recently I ve noticed that occasionally during hard acceleration the ignition cuts out momentarily. This doesnt happen always but very randomly, for instance I was accelerating hard through first gear then shifted to 2nd and when I floored it the engine just cut out momentarily. Any ideas what this could be due to??? Cheers adi

  18. If you are referring to the GReddy Pressure sensor, No it isnt. Is it necessary???
  19. In my BPU tt I m using a HKS EVC 6 boost controller and have a AEM wideband to monitor AFR's. I did a datalog yesterday with the boost controllers max pressure set to 16.5 psi and the maximum the boost controller recorded was 16.4 but looking at the datalogs from the GReddy EMU, the Greddy pressure sensor has recorded boost spikes upto 19.4 psi momentarily for a split second and the boost spikes seem a bit erratic on the datalogs. Any idea why this would happen??? Also, I am seeing upto 98.9% duty on the Injectors at WOT in 3rd and 4th gear at 6200 ish RPM but my AFR s are fairly stable at 10.2 - 10.6. Is this a problem to see such high duty cycles??? Cheers
  20. Hi everyone, would it be possible to use the TT supra's coil packs on the 2JZ-GE engine and convert it to a coil on plug ignition system if one were to use a standalone engine management system such as the Autronic SM4??? Any help would be great Cheers adi

  23. I m hoping to run a water injection system for when I go T61 single turbo, whats size of nozzle would people suggest I use? I called up coolingmist and they said that for a supra I should use the 760cc injector, a bit of an overkill isnt it? thanks adi
