  1. I m thinking about doing some reading on forced induction and was thinking of either getting 'Maximum Boost' by Corky Bell or 'Forced induction performance tuning' by Graham Bell. I DON'T want a book thats too basic. would be great if any of you'll could suggest one of them. http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/1859606911/qid=1130337879/sr=8-2/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i2_xgl/026-9873220-3905238 http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0837601606/qid=1130338788/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_0_1/026-9873220-3905238 cheers
  2. Doest look like a JDM specific one.
  3. Ya that is the US spec one. would be nice to have the JDM specific wiring diagram for us J-spec owners!
  4. Does anybody actually have a J-spec's wiring diagram?
  5. I need to get a new Rev-counter for my RHD NA-TT swap car since the NA's tach doesnt work with the TT engine. I asked Curt Aiger and he said the LHD car's tach wouldnt work on the RHD cars because of different mounting points. However, if you think about it logically the tach should fit because it is in the middle of the speedo and fuel gauge in both the LHD and RHD cars. Can anyone confirm whether they would or wouldnt fit??? Any pics would be great Cheers
  6. Thanks mate!!! very kind of you. Cheers
  7. Anyone know if this sort of tool can be purchased around here anywhere??? http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=320581
  8. I like the look of the R34 much better. none of them beat the MKIV supe as far as looks r concerned!!!
  9. Boost cut contoller (Greddy BCC or similar)
  10. Ya John, they are from the TT engine. thats what i was thinking too, way too high for the TT isnt it. would be very helpful if someone can post a pic of which fuse exactly i have to pull b'fore doing the test.
  11. Had my compression test done with removing the fuel injection fuel and the results were cyl 1) 230psi " 2) 220psi " 3) 220psi " 4) 230psi " 5) 230psi " 6) 230psi Now how can this be possible??? only thing i can think of is that i pulled out the wrong fuse instead of the fuel injection fuse.
  12. All the parts are working mate! but had some minor problems with the wiring harness, couple of wires connecting to the connectors near the ECU were loose so had some idling issues etc. but just recently figured out that it was due to loose connectors and managed to fix them, wasnt a big deal though, just took a while to figure it out. I guess these things can be expected since our cars are becoming old now. Appreciate your concern!!! Cheers
  13. Hi, Ever since my engine swap i have been using TTC. when the car is in TTC, it boosts upto about 9-10psi max. But when i switch to sequential mode it boosts to about 7psi and as the rpm rises, the boost drops to about 4psi. I've checked for boost leaks and there doesnt seem to be any. Anyone have any idea what could be wrong Note: i am still using the stock NA exhaust on the car. Cheers
  14. Thanks John, are they easily available though???
  15. Where can i get some good heat shrink tubes from. Need some for the wires i've spliced in my wiring harness. Cheers
  16. But doesnt the seller have to agree to refund??? Just out of curiosity, is there any particular policy for this refund thing???
  17. isnt this supposed to be in the off topic section!
  18. Paul, What about the Stock Revmeter, Main 02 sensor??? Oh also, is "Stock Gear shift assay (short shift fitted) £50.00" the complete assembly with the shiter tripod etc etc... cheers
  19. Did you disconnect the Fuel injection fuse b'fore doing the compression test??? Arent those figures a bit high for the GTE engine.
  20. Thanks for the reply mate. Any particular reason for the above?
  21. Just for clarification, when performing a compression test on the 2JZGTE you would have to first disconnect the ignitor right?
  22. In my NA-TT car i am going to be doing a transmission swap from the 5spd W58 to the 6spd Getrag. If there is anyone on this forum who has done a transmission swap from the 5spd to the 6spd pl let me know i would like to clarify some details.
