What makes you think that they have come to this country? I expect you'll find alot of "them" are British. Born and bred. Does the colour of their skin define their Nationality? Does the religion they chose to follow define their Nationality? There is nothing wrong in respecting anothers' culture or customs. I can assure you that in an emergency situation a female officer wouldn't be expected to don a headcovering to enter a Mosque nor would an officer be expected to remove their footwear, however if it were for improving Community relations, building ties with the Community and showing tolerance and respect, when employed as part of a Safer Neighbourhood team then they would. It doesn't dilute effectiveness or undermine our culture, it builds bridges IMO. Giving a little bit in order to gain more is worth the effort.

I had this problem with my old car. As the end of the pipes aren't swagged, then the silicon connector is having a tough time trying to get a grip on what is essentially a smooth surface. To get round buying new pipework, I got some good quality Mocal silicon connector, and used a bit of emery paper around the end of the tube to make it a little rough. The silicon has a batter chance of gripping the tube as a result. Get some good quality Mikalor clamps if your haven't got them. Jubilee clips aren't really upto the job.

I fear my media player is corrupted. I cannot play any files using it, instead it freezes my PC with green vertical lines and the page goes sort of blurry. Any ideas how to fix. Spybot and AVG have not picked up any virus' or trojans.

Do a search on powerbraking it's a quick launch method for autos but does put a strain on your box and powertrain and if overused can fry your box.

On a more serious note, members of this club have died driving their cars in heavy rain whilst driving to the conditions in an appropriate manner. So joking aside; Make sure you have your lights on. Drive at a speed that you can stop in the distance you can see on your own side of the road. Don't be afraid to slow down, it matters not if you have a queue of cars up your backside, drive at a speed you are comfortable with, as long as the above applies. If you hit standing water, then come off the gas, hold your steering wheel tight and keep the car straight. Do NOT brake, steer or accelerate, because your tyres won't have it and you'll end up aquaplaning or skidding. Arrive alive.

Got up, made the Mrs a cuppa, let the dog out, had some brekkie, had a shower, took the dog out for a long walk with my daughter. Took some pics of the wheat fields to add to my portfolio of stuff I'm doing. Had some lunch then just went for a 10 mile bike ride with my wife and daughter. Just got back, cracked a beer, quick check on here then onto the high seas to sink some pirate ships.

There have been instances when persons have been charged and convicted of murder after using their car to kill somone, but the crucial point in any murder charge is malice aforethought. Instead, perhaps thought should be given to increase the penalties for those convicted of causing death whilst under the influence of drink or drugs, or causing death by dangerous driving as often the penalties given out on conviction hardly seem commensurate with the offence.
