basically, something to do with UK road laws, been competing on rally's now for the past 13 years on both sides of the car and never quite worked that one out!

they are only allowed while competing on events, once they have finished or have retired they need to cross them out. Mike

I've fitted mine where the charcoal cannister was and to be honest not has a problem with it. As long as you have a non-return valve to prevent the oil from draining back into the engine there will always be oil going through the system when you first start it up. I'll see if I can dig up a photo of the location Mike

I've just fitting an uprated Miami GT smic this weekend and i would throughly recommend one. Engine is much more responsive and the kick as tubby 2 comes on is much more noticeable. and the standard SMIC coming off was in fairly good condition so it wasn't even though i was going from a cr@p knacked one.

I second all the above, but I have to laugh becasue in your orginal thread someone said lucky you werent in a Focus, but looking at those I would much rather be in one. it can clearly stay in one piece in a crash better than the sup!!!

the one where the bloke died was where he was in a box strung up by a crain and the the chain holding it broke and he fell....not nice (but i stand to be correct on the exact details, it was on the Late Late Show?) he'd stopped appearing on tele after the ratings when through the floor after Noel House Party.
