    Its done!

that's a very similar setup to mine, just watch out for the clutch slave cylinder as due to the increase of clutch pressure it's popped it like a cork. cheap to replace just a pain.
  2. Acronis do a good range that we use in Work for PC imaging.
  3. they were very lucky there, watch the way their heads crack off the roof when it rolls over. I cant believe they not wearing helmets???
  4. I live on the the Isle of Man and there are number of them over here, there are three silver (two N/a and a TT (mine)), two Black (N/A and TT) and one Pink N/A. there is also a very clean TT MkIII. Mike
  5. Nice looking in black but that a god awful interior (design wise that is)!
  6. The one you have here is the full FIA one the four connectors on the bottom essentially cut the supply for the alternator without causing any feedback which can blow the electrics. It does come with some instructions which are fairly simple to follow if you have some understanding of car electrics. The only thing to be installed on the outside is the pull cable to activate the cutoff (any this is only for safety marshel's to pull) which is still installed inside the cabin. If you have the battery in the boot it is easier to install as you have the cable running through the cabin anyway. I've attched a couple of pics from my escort rally car before the rebuild (no new ones I'm afraid) just giving a rough layout. the two on the outside are for the cutoff and the fire extinguisher.
  7. I did a BSc in computer science straight from A levels which was 4 year course with the third year being work experience year in the industry and to be honest when i finished most employers were more interested in the year work experience than the qualification gained from the whole course, which was useful as I spent most of the other time Pissed Mike
  8. Sorry didnt meant to sound condersending there, I was kicking myself for not putting up the information, I wasnt having a go at you
  9. cheers, I suppose a link would of been more worth while MVP motorsports, an authorised trader on here from the states. good prices usually, even better now that the dollar is wothless http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/merchant/index.shtml
  10. I have one of these installed and I bought mine from MVP. They can also supply the correct harnesses for them as well. just PM Dusty as he was the best price i could find as no one at the time seems to be selling them in the UK Mike
  11. Looks like the back part of the top glovebox. there the bolts go though.
  12. well fairly quet night only a few callers and they were all polite, except waking up this morning to find the side of the supra egged....bollocks!!!!!
  13. On standard road tires I hold it on the handbrake at about 4000 and just drop the clutch. The last time i did that the best i got was a 13.1 at 119mph athough after the 5th run the clutch was well and truely knackered. I'm running BPU and running on 1.2 at the time although I now have a stage 3 RPS clutch and segmented flywheel but havent have chance to test it on the strip. Better tires and I should be in the 12's edit: oh and i'm 6speed aswell
  14. driving like a typical evo driver!!! What was he doing trying to overtake through a corner. The poor driver in the 106 gets taken out?
  15. you would be looking for the holy grail then I would guess that would be somewhere between OEM and the Lance settings!
  16. Have you tried Burton Power, they are ford specialists and can do parts for most Ford engines. I get most of the parts for my X-Flow from them. http://www.burtonpower.com Mike
  17. I'd love to get Chris to setup my suspension but it's a bit difficult where i am to get up to his place. I'm just after general spec that I can give to the garage to follow. cheers
  18. Hi, Does anyone have a base Track setup (camber, caster, toe-in etc) for a Supra? I'm not interested in a road / track compromise and i'm not worried about tire wear, I just need a good starting setup that I can work from (or the garage can anyway as i dont have to setup tools). cheers Mike
  19. here's a thought....stop having kids!!!!!

    Car fire

Lifting the bonnet on an engine fire is probably worse thing he could of done, but in a panic you forget these thing but at least you got it out for him.
  21. About three days, it was filmed on the Isle of man at the end of July / start of august where they had a load of supercars.... and a Megane?? They were blasting all around the island in audi R8, Lambo Gallardo Superleggera etc looked like good fun, shame I was just running around in my clio at the time Mike
