It looks like a carpet python, we looked after 2 of those for a couple of years for my sister-in-law. It's true that their eyesight is bad, so they just strike at whatever moves and dead rats don't move much! One day when feeding them (which we did by holding the rats with b-b-q tongs, but they strike sooo quickly!), one decided my finger was much tastier - it took 15 minutes to get it uncoiled and off my arm, and my hand was pouring blood (in which snake no. 2 was decidely interested!). Needless to say after that we just chucked the dead rats in the vivarium and let them fend for themselves.

This is a weakness, but not necessarily due to age / use; we just had to replace our coil packs on a 2000 with less than 30K miles on it. No problem with the ones on the Supe ("touch wood"!) and she's nearly 11 years old. Otherwise they're gorgeous, but not as gorgeous as a Supra of course!

Our son and his fiancee have 2, got them 18 months ago and they're just like the ones above at 1 o'clock and 8 o'clock. They're called Woody and Buzz and they're spoiled rotten by all of us. Aerotop Dave, thanks for the tip re the coconut shells; that might save some money on replacing their 'houses' every month or so because it's been chewed to bits (even the so-called indestructible ones!). We've always had a variety of pets, but ours are indoor cats so the hunted 'gift' they present us with is usually a pair of socks (sure they put up a good fight though! ).

I caught sight of my first one in 1994 in my rear view mirror, it was a few cars back. I kept driving erratically to see more and was desperate to try to identify it - Christian said it was a MkIV and that was it! It was a few years before we could afford her, but I still get that 'wow' when I look at her! Oh, and we did have a MkIII first (but she was Christian's)

I agree, it would be fantastic to design & have it built to your spec, but I couldn't put up with the hassle The option of a 6 bed (Victorian) with NO garage isn't there either! But we're looking for a 4 bed with double garage now, as we can't get the cars into the bedrooms!
