We love our cars and are lucky enough to have 4. So perfectly happy to keep her as a treat and drive her once or twice a week - don't want to give those peeps on the M25 a treat EVERY day!!!

Driving 120 miles a day would put too many miles on her (she passed 60K recently)! Makes it REALLY special when we take her out to play (about once a week and at weekends).

Fate. Nearly 29 years ago, when I was 14, my friend's boyfriend went home and physically dragged his brother from in front of the telly (Starsky & Hutch) to a party. I told him off, he asked me out and the rest is history; we've been married over 26 years! What if Christian had refused to come to the party?

Too busy to think about it yet! We are both working very long hours and our eldest gets married next Saturday. Our youngest came back from Japan (where he works) on Wednesday morning for the wedding, so I'm now waiting for him & Christian to get ready for the dreaded trip to Bluewater to get the wedding suits. I went out this morning leaving Father & Son who were s'posed to get ready. So of course when I came back there they were, unshowered and watching a DVD! I feel nagging mode coming on! On the supe front, she's not running so well. Fine when I drove her back from York, but on Tuesday morning about a mile from work (45 miles from home) she started playing up; can't decide which gear to be in, almost feeling as if she's gonna stall (auto!!), but you can't put your foot down as the power REALLY kicks in quickly now. The power is all 'in the middle', so gently does it! We'll think about it once the Wedding's over.

It was a while ago that I saw it (s'pose I'll have to sit through it again!), but I thought it was a kind of 'you can't escape fate; it's gonna get you in the end' kind of thing?

Volvo T5 C70 Convertible for the sunny(!) days and an MG ZS 120+ for the rest of the time (or if we need 5 seats!).

Christian got in the Q twice (which was VERY long after 2 p.m.), but as there was no Q at all for the drag ... the calling was obviously too strong for him! Once I walked to see why it wasn't moving, came back to the Q, he was gone, then heard his name over the tannoy, 'dragging it' again!!

So you would ship the Supe out there! Can I ask what you do? Good luck and hope it all works out anyway; keep us posted!

Hi Terry, Now that's a REAL coincidence, Christian had TWO runs at 12.56 on streets! Yep, the DRs worked really well, got .4 of a second, but ... even spookier, the last 2 runs on them were exactly the same @ 12.09 - !! P.S. He'll be posting again himself now I've paid him and he can afford to resubscribe
