  1. Sorry you're having to sell Samurai! We've got a Volvo C70 convertible (T5, 245 bhp, basically the same engine as the ones the motorway police drive) and it's a beautiful car; it's got a fantastic interior and good room in the back even tho' we're tall people. Have to say that it is really a 'cruising' car, it feels a bit like driving a ship if you've just got out of the Supra! It's got the power, but you have to ask it to go. It's probably in your price range for cars 3+ years old too. But truthfully, if you fancy a Leon, best go for that as now is not the best time to buy a convertible (they go up at this time of year).
  2. It took me a while to spot it, but
  3. Brilliant - especially the foxy fox!
  4. We'd definately be interested!
  5. Surely things can only get better!
  6. From that picture - Yuk! I think the front end is ugly; lights too small - it looks a bit like a Fiesta! If that really is it then we'll be sticking with the MkIV.
  7. We were both driving at the Bruntingthorpe track day (Black Supra, yellow Skyline & my sister's blue Soarer), and Christian was driving at the magazine bash (fastest time!! ), The front & sides are Stillen, the bumper is Do-luck & the wing is TRD. But it's not 3rd from left in the main picture!

    A classic

And Ron would be speaking in a VERY high pitched voice

    A classic

The funny thing is - there probably are some blokes who think that 'Ron' is a really understanding bloke! Me, I'd do something creative with one of his precious golf clubs.
  10. Congrats Chris to you & Jane! They're gorgeous, are you going to have to get more land soon, or will you sell some when they're of age? Jen
  11. Made me laugh, lots of memories there! Don't remember seeing the 'other' post on white dog poo, but it was because dogs were fed on bones back then, now it's mostly processed food, hence no white poo!
  12. We're going to a hen & stag do that weekend. Next time we'd love to come. Have a great time! Jen & Christian
  13. Meat or poultry of any description (fat or gristle - yuck), not eaten any since I was 10! Don't like celery or cucumber either.
  14. For 6 years I was driving 120 miles per day on the M25, J2 to J13 return. A manual is just a pain in the ar*e in stop start traffic. We wanted & bought an auto TT & it's a fantastic drive, we would never swap it for a manual. We have 2 other autos but the Supra box is far superior to the Volvo or the MG. The other car is only a manual because they don't do it with an auto box!
  15. Thank you! Just had the body kit put on. Just got back from a track day at Bruntingthorpe - brilliant!
  16. That was ours! Christian was getting the food for Bruntingthorpe tomorrow (I've just filled the rolls!), saw you, de-spoilered, unusual colour, what is it?
  17. Yea, but it's not a supra is it?

    Celebs with Supras?

Wasn't too impressed with your driving performance on Top Gear!
  19. For what it's worth Christian & I will look out for training opportunities for you, (fortunately, we are both in contract at present, but with 2 hour journeys each way) . (BTW, please don't think this a silly question, but you don't put your age / DOB on your CV? I took mine off; they can work it out from your qualifications if they ever read past page 1!!). In the meantime, best of luck with your search, 50.

    Supra Snobs?

Very true!! I'm sure Gav & family will have fun in the scooby too.

    Supra Snobs?

Our 2 boys (both 6'2") have now 'flown' the nest. We have a TT, but it was never our only car (fortunately!) - that would have been a nightmare! Any journey with all 4 of us over 1 hour resulted in the whole family getting out grinning, but pretty sore & bent over!!! Good luck with the change Gav & have fun in the scoob! Here's the cuddle Jenny & Christian.
  22. Is the change due to lack of positions in the food industry in your area?
  23. Hi 50 Have you tried http://www.jobsite.co.uk? Worked for me. I uploaded my CV, had 2 calls the next day resulting in 2 interviews the next week and was lucky enough to get the contract with the 1st, so took it. I did a quick search for IT Consultant in Cornwall (just to check they covered your area) & came up with 7 results. Hope this helps and don't worry; the right job will come along, but you've got to keep looking for it. Good luck! Jenny
  24. We're still going, the sun's trying to come through here in cloudy Gravesend, so you never know! :nana:
