hi lol whats a molex. god i feel so out of touch with hardware.i used to be up on it at one time.used to go to all the computer shows buying new hardware,they change so much. just got to a stage when the computer was doing everything i needed and seemed ok for what i was using it for. going back to shop where i bought all bits from to see where im going wrong. hope none of the hardware is faulty, had that before.built a few pc`s over the years. thanks for help and advice xxx xx x

still no joy with it. hard drive spins up.just not kicking in display. just been reading up about pci express.did not know what the small blue slots were for.seemed a bit small for a graphics card. they go up in different sizes the small ones are pci express x1. the card i just got is pci express x16 slot. its been like ages since i upgraded. will take back to shop and let them see why its not booting. thanks for any help and advice.

hi did not know you have to power gfx card. all new items are retail boxes. the gfx card came with dvi to vga adapter vivo cable for input/output

hi i have taken out the 500 watt power supply that came with new case. and put in the other power supply i bought.it looks better made but its 425 watt the main power connector that goes to motherboard is in 2 sections, a big connector and a small 4 pin connector that lines up with arrows. there is also a 4 pin connector that i plugged into the cpu area. there is also a 6 pin power connector but there is no where to connect that. did not know you had to power the graphics card seperate.thought it would take power from motherboard. on the motherboard there is a power connector but i read it was only if you running in sli mode with 2 graphics cards.i only have 1 graphics card.

hi i have had mother board in then took out and re mounted it. uncle told me to make sure the board is firmly attatched.

hi just been having problems with pc`s lately so thought i would upgrade a bit. only mainly use pc for surfing and msn.dont really bother with games but would not mind trying some. my old system amd 2000 chip (1.10mhz) 256 meg ram 1x 200 meg maxtor ide 2x 300 meg maxtor ide (just bought) 8x8 pioneer dvd writer 64 meg nvidea gforce 2 mx400 4 port usb hub pci card 2x 10/100 network cards soundblaster pci 512 soundcard been having intermitting troubles.so decided to upgrade a bit. had old comp a few years and built it myself.the old pcwould not see my 300 gig hard drives,had to partition to smaller sections.but a newer shuttle small case pc would see them ok.think it was something to do with bios in old motherboard. just bought biostar n4sli-a9 motherboard with twin pci express slots.(socket 939) amd athlon 64 3500 64bit 2x 512meg corsair ddr400 mem 1x 128 meg ddr300 winfast px6600 gt tdh graphics card new tower case with 500wat power supply also got a hiper power supply 425 watt pc specs have changed a bit since last time i built one,know nothing about pci express cards.just know sli runs 2 gfx cards in tandem for better performance. i built it all up ok and come to power on machine and got case to light up and power but got no display.not getting any error beeps. anyone have any ideas where im going wrong. tried the memory in another comp and thats fine.cpu can only go in one way and fan on cpu spins up and case lights up when you power on. just not sure with pci express gfx cards.whats the small blue slots for? tried it with hardly anything plugged in.also been reading up about running memory in dual core i think it was called.it says on net you put memory in dimm slots 1 and 3. the memory slots are blue and cream. does the gfx card have to run at a certain voltage to work? i bought all parts from same shop.so dont think they would recomend something that would not work.shops not open till wednesday so cant ask for advice in technical department. has anyone tried out the new windows xp64 os thought i would see if any it guys know what i doing wrong thanks

lol company directors means he and his partner can both direct the window cleaner to which hose to go to first. makes you wonder why staff morale can be down.its like a slap in face.give the little people some vouchers for all there hard work.when the office staff go out on christmas do`s and morale boosting nights out. the office staff got treated to a meal and drinks and had hotel rooms payed for.its the office staff who fook up most jobs with paperwork errors.

last few years we got 15 quid in JJB sports vouchers.i normally give them away.last year we got 15 quid in ASDA vouchers.not bad for a company i been at for 11 years+ gone from 1 million turnover to 20+ million turnover. they also have a raffle of lots of freebies they get over the year like wines and spirits.this year they had a management buyout so will see that happens.

i have a p900 and p910i they smart phones. the p900 i have only holds charge for an hour. the p900 has maximum of 128meg card the 910i can take 1 gig.also the p910i has a 262,000 colour screen. would it be down to hardware as the 910i seems like its a bit better spec. i was looking on ebay a couple of weeks ago soon some gps software for sony erricson form 15 quid and it was tomtom software and had other make too. was not sure which gps bluetooth ariel to get.there is a p990 phone coming out soon with 2 megapixel cam and more memory as standard in phone.

i went on a health thing watching what i was eating.was drinking up to 3 liters of water a day. it just goes through me it does glear your urine to clear.think to me it dont make me feel any better.i still get tired.but it does seem to make your skin clear up. if you have a few cans of lager it also clears your urine too.but you up half the night going for a tiddle.i drink lots of coffee and tea in a day. what i want is something that gives you plenty of energy,tried gin sing tablets but they dont make me feel any better.

i used to change them a lot but this one is one i have had for ages.its a peice of my artwork lol the jack the ripper one i had was a good one too

i went up to Scotland, Hamilton friday went up a1 and onto the a66 must be a bad area for carshes.lots of speed signs on a66. looked a great road for driving

i have more respect for people like ian c and eyefi doing all the work on there own cars. just depends how far you want to go.cars cant really be called street trim running sticky rubber and race fuels.cant take away from the dedication from tuning/importers cars. they put lots of money and time into there cars to promote ther business.if there car does well it will reflect on there business. its good to see what an all out racer can do. but no way can a man on the street compete with tuners with big budgets. well done to skylines but they do seem up there own asses.seem to come across as arrogant. look at keith c he has bucket loads of sponsors and the fans love to buy the t shirts (how funny is that) maybe we should all wear HOME MADE with no sponsors t shirts and sell for £2.99 each think to me its about taking part and doing best you can on what you have

i just got used to using agent v1.9 installed v3 and was a lot different so went back to v1.9 mate was telling me about newsbinpro about you type in what you looking for and it tells you which group its in i use quickpar to repair broken files.really good program.
