Loads of staff couldn't even get access to Terminal 5 because thier ID's weren't valid for that area. But they didn't know that until the first day of operation. The T4 loaders are trained on freight dollys where the T1 loaders are not and they lumped all the loaders from T4 and T1 together into T5. Also, where as in T4 and T1 loaders move from stand to stand in vans they don't in T5 and have to walk from stand to stand ...... So much for new practices changing from a tried and tested method. Half the reasons why things go wrong at Heathrow is down to management trying to get the job done cheaper and it fails. We used to have an 8 man crew to load and unload a 747 and two elevators, one on the front and one on the back. Due to management they are now a 4 man crew with one elevator to load and unload both front and rear holds. Hence why it takes longer to get the bags to the baggage hall. To many people blame the staff but half the time they are trying to do the job with one hand tied behind their backs ....... Just thought I'd stick up for my fellow workers ......

Well just suppose that today people and tomorrow no people ... it's how the world would change ... become overgrown and fall apart with rust, climate, vegetation from 1 - 20 - 1000 -10000 years ... really interesting and was 2 hours long
