Ok guys just been down to Thames Car Radio and they said the Becker was the best for portable and even then is not as good as a fixed gyro unit. They said even on a day like a foggy or cloudy day blah blah blah. They said the Tom Tom was sh*t blah blah but by the sounds of the units u guys have, ya swear by them and don't seem to have problems. Am looking for a portable that will take me direct to postcode address and reroute if I decide to go off route like avoiding humps and the like. Thanks guys for ur continued help.

Hi Guys Thanks to Katie for the thread and writing the names for the draw for me beloved Toyota Jacket. Nice to see it go to Sue who helped me rip up some bits of paper Good call hun well deserved .... and next month ... mine and Steve's syrups are up for the raffle ..... wouldn't it be nice if we done a raffle each month. Thought they were a midrange tyre, Thanks for the advice guys so went down a got a pair. Grays in Hendon/London. Two tyres with valves, balancing and the dreaded VAT ..... All for £180 which I thought was pretty good ...
