Could be. I'm going by What Leon told me years ago, when I first had a lightened flywheel fitted. - I don't know enough about the internals of a gearbox to even know what an Idle Arm is

The flywheel itself doesn't rattle. It's a solid lump of metal. It's the springs in the friction plate that rattle.

    You didn't complain last time!
  4. Yes. Providing it's done properly

Not as much hassle as converting the car to manual!
  6. It can be set to operate from any button. depends on how the installer set it up, and it's a preset run time, again, set by the installer.
  7. And I hate to disagree with you, but the auto is still quicker in a straight line. Look at Robbies times for his first time out. (Don't compare Kevins car. That's just pure extreme!) No. haven't had the time or money lately They're usually OK if you put a baffle in the exhaust.

South Bend DXD Kevlar/metalic 6 puck clutch.... Tried, tested, abused "The DXD SS Puck kit contains a extreme clamp load pressure plate, and a 6 button, true dual friction clutch disc. By using ceramic buttons on the flywheel side of the disc and 100% Kevlar® buttons on the pressure plate, this disc will provide all the holding power required by today's serious racers. " http://www.dxdracingclutches.com/home.html IIRC it was about £550 from Horsepower Freaks. But the exchange rate is much better now! You're welcome for a test drive if you're passing
  9. Welcome to the world of slower accelerating Supra's James
  10. On top of the radio there are two plastic boxes. The brown small one with the small plug, is the electric aerial relay The cream larger box with two large orange plugs are for climate control There are possibly two metal boxes behind the radio on the top of the tunnel near the back of the bulkhead. The bottom one with two plugs is the ABS ECU. The one on top of the ABS ECU with a single plug, is for the active spoiler. Now you know for certain
  11. Mine gets wet. I don't like it, but the car doesn't seem to mind. And I'm not a tart, I don't have shiney bits, and I couldn't care less what my engine bay looks like as long as it does what it's supposed to
  12. Bloody hell! Txt spk, USA speak... What's wrong with bloody English? OK, so, out of interest, how do you abbreviate 'Throttle Position Sensor'?
  13. GT2835's are designed for paralell operation. Hybrids are stock based turbos that have been worked on internally and supposed to make more power and/or longivity. As Alex said, 470 is a realistic maximum no matter what you do. The only way you'll get more power than that on stock based twins is in a bar.... After a few pints
  14. I might be up for that too I like Dyno Dynamics roller too. In fact, they're the only ones I wholeheartedly trust.
  15. I too have seen enough proof in the past to believe that the power levels are very close and similar. The difference I have seen is that the torque curve on the JDM car peaks a lot earlier than the Export spec. I'd also say that at BPU levels, over here, the JDM cars seem to be able to do quicker 1/4s than the UK counterparts. Not by a lot, and it may just be that there are mre JDM cars over here that have put their cars on the track.
  16. Do you have two pot, or four pot calipers? - The larger disks will only go with the four pots, unless you have an aftermarket set up.
  17. It is for real. Honestly. Terry built this car purposely to be the ultimate street Supra, and it was pretty much no expense spared on a VFM basis. The excellent drivability and quick spool are a combination of small DBB turbo, excellent mapping of the HKS V-pro, and possibly a little help from the VVTi system. IIRC he could achive full boost by 2600rpm! - Terry or Mike would need to confirm that, but I'm fairly sure that's correct.
  18. FCD's have nothing to do with TPS (Throttle Position Sensor). The FCD cuts the MAP sensor wire.
  19. Mine are cut off too. Just keeps it neater, and besides it only took a few minutes of driving the single to know I wasn't going back to sequentials
  20. I'm not sure mate. I've only fitted one of them before, and the bung wasn't welded in at the time, so we couldn't/didn't test it. Yours seemed to be doing nothing regardless of whether the sensor was plugged in or not.... Maybe post a new thread asking if anyone else has experienced it? - Or send a mail to Innovative Motorsports?
