  1. Sounds like you have more luck. At least your lights went alright! Sorry, couldn't resist! Just need to sort your locking and RL, and you'll be a happy bunny
  2. UK spec alarm is very different from the European standard fit thing. The UK alarms have three immobilisation points. As far as I know, the factory fitted one, only has one. Sadly I can't really help identify the problem on a European system as I've never actually seen one in reality. I've been told that it is a fuel cut, but I've also been told it only cuts the starter motor...
  3. If you cut them individually, yes. Messy, but yes. Are you sure you can't push the bezzle forwards?
  4. A lot of LED's are mounted in bezzles. Try pushing the LED forward, to expose the bezzle, then you may be able to remove it, and pull the LED back through the hole in the dash...
  5. Gary, Whenever you get a spare moment, let me know and I'll happily have a look for you. You wanted the RLTC looking at too, perhaps we could do them both one day/evening?
  6. Yeah, come on Rob, set a date at least!
  7. Dudes was self fabricated, but Keith C has/had a 'real' one fitted to his car. So they are out there...
  8. There are never enough green ones either!
  9. A friend of mine had an EVO that had exactly the same problem as you're describing. His was down to the reluctor ring being cracked.
  10. Does the locking work in both directions from the drivers door switch?
  11. Next showing sceduled for 11.01
  12. LOL, you gotta see it... It's soooooo cheeeeessey! - I mean, my wife's in it, it's fantastic!
  13. Yep. Did you definately have it on Meridian?
  14. It's the 30 second ad coming up in a few minutes... She's wearing a red top.
  15. LOL, she's the bald one with the goatie! There's two versions of the ad, one is 30 seconds, the other is 10 seconds. In the 10 second ad, it's only her, my boss, and the directors kiddie outside, playing a cheesey quiz game. In the 30 second ad, it's the same three but inside the building.
  16. LOL, I forgot you could get Meridian on Sky!!!
  17. Autoplanet have had a TV advert done, and I nominated my wife to 'star' in it - (Ha-ha!). Anyway, much to her embarrassment, it's on Meridian TV today and tomorrow. She hates it..... So I thought I'd tell as many people as I could!!! :D Anyone that can get Meridian TV, the ad is on twice during The Bill, (8.15, and 8.30), at the end of the news (11.30), and lastly at 11.30. It's also on tomorrow too... 10 times!!!
  18. Personally, I'd suggest the easiest way without spending a fortune on mahoooosive soldering irons, I would recommend using 4awg cable as a minimum, and use the correct size ring terminals. Then nut & bolt the ring terminals together and insulate the connection, cable tieing it to something sturdy. You can get a proper soldering iron for soldering massive cables, but they cost about £100+ Alternatively, neater and better, but more expensive, replace the cable to the starter motor and the fuse box completely. The cables bolt on to the starter and fusebox. Same with the earth cables. Good luck!
  19. It all depends on what boost controller, and where you want it mounted. Anything from 1.5 - 3 hours would be acceptable IMHO. It probably is possible to throw one in within an hour providing the controller was being mounted in a simple place, and the wiring was Scotch-locked in place, with no real care for pipe or cable routing....
  20. When their involved usually a magical wand has been passed;) That must be the magic wand of 'doing things properly' Most people have access to that wand but some believe they don't need it
  21. It's probably just a duff connection whilst the kph/mph conversion was done. Probably a bloody Scotchlok! Nearest person to you that I'd recommend will be Chris Wilson http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/member.php?u=54
  22. Wow, those words changed as I hit the quote button! Anyway, That's fantastic news. It's taken him a long time to get that far and I know it's not always been a pleasant, (or cheap!) journey. Well done Leon!
