  1. If the 650 you've had fitted has been fitted with a Glass Tamper Sensor, a Dual Zone Proximity Sensor and a Tilt and Motion Sensor, then that brings it up to the same specification as the 950 to the end user. The 950 has onboard relays which make life easier for the installer, but that's about it. To be honest, whoever has fitted this alarm for you have done nothing wrong and although they have technically fitted the wrong alarm, they've brought it up to the same specification as the one you were originally quoted for. Yes, I can and would do it cheaper, but only because I've done so many Supra's I know them inside out. I know where to mount the units, where to tap into the correct wires without even needing to test most of them. People like GAP do them cheaper because they don't do a proper job. They'll not immobilise the car properly, or leave out sensors, leave parts of the system not set up, make 'twist 'n' tape' connections, and generally bad fitment, that's their reason for doing them cheaper. What they have charged you isn't unreasonable. It's less than the RRP price. In your opening post you knew it was a 650 and seemed happy with it. As long as they have fitted it properly and it is working as it should, I really can't see the problem. Keep on their good side. You may need their help if something ever goes wrong. - And I'm not saying the alarm or their work, but imagine one day, you car doesn't start. The first thing people blame is the alarm. If this happens to you, and you get them to come out to look at the alarm and they find a fault that's not alarm related, you'll wish you were on good terms then!
  2. I agree. Supercar in it's day. Back in 1987, the Sierra Cosworth was a supercar with 210 bhp, 0-60 in 6.2 and top end of 145! Things move on...
  3. Requires a little attention...
  4. I can recommend Reident Evil Wii edition. Thoroughly enjoyable and interactive experience. Plus I found the game to be huge and went on for considerbale hours!
  5. Good on you! - A stark contrast to one of the other disputes going on at the moment. I do wish some people could accept when they're in the wrong and make things right again.
  6. No. They'll both do the same sort of thing. The only difference is that once the F-con is set up, it can only be changed by a HKS dealer. The RLTC you can freely alter when ever you want to.
  7. So long as you're happy thats all that matters I won't say what I could have done it for 'cause I don't want to upset you
  8. I can tell that, because I haven't seen any threads from you about how your alarm has gone wrong
  9. You can't miss it. It should have a black box with a dial for the traction control and a green button for launch control
  10. Concept 650 with dual Zone Proximity sensor RRP - £439 Intellistart - RRP £179 Glass Tamper Sensor - RRP £49 Tilt and Motion Sensor - RRP £79 Total £746 Well, you got a bit of deal there...
  11. Does the controller have a launch button?
  12. No, that's the correct side. The steering connsctions are in the same loom as the coolant connections, alternator, front VSV etc. It just looks odd as you wouldn't normally 'see' them in that location.
  13. I've used both methods. Both work, but the pink grease is much, much easier to work with.
  14. This reply should probably get deleted if it's too obvious Heat of the moment, that's all Excuses, excuses, I know, but I just felt the need Glad to see I'm not the only one with these thoughts Unnecessarily awkward is what I was thinking You always get one It will come good in the end though Sooner rather than later Amazing that it's gone this far! To me, it's obvious what should be done Or at least I thought it was obvious Stop trying to wriggle out of it Stop messing about and deal with it. Enough is enough Refund the poor guy his money! :innocent:
  15. LOL! (Obviously not laughing at you being ripped off, but under the circumstances that picture is excellent!)
  16. Just went outside to hug a tree.... Nope, I still don't feel any different about seeing people getting ripped off
  17. Monkey Shit Brown! Has that put you off? Actually, on a clean car it's a really good colour IMO.
  18. Price not being everything, would I be right to assume that a similarly priced one from PC World/Tesco would be of lesser quality?
  19. A very good friend of mine is looking to buy a laptop for his daughter for Christmas. Is there anyone on here that may be able to offer a better deal than he could get elsewhere, and collected / delivered before Christmas? Thanks in advance. PM me if you prefer
  20. After seeing that you have a 'NMCT-D50', which is a tuner/TV/DVD/CD/MD/Satnav unit, I rest my case. Sadly, it's about as much use as a chocolate teapot over here!
