Wasn't there a very long long thread on this that ran for a very long time? If I remember rightly (about a year ago) it ended up being some sort of receiver for a remote (central locking?).

NO WAY!! first I heard of this... What was it? Heart attack? He wasn't that old at all... as said earlier, he wasn't the funniest presenter but certainly one of the longest running. RIP.

Just an observation and in no way is it ment in a derogatory (sp?) manner, but its the first time I've seen a Supe with rear spats and no side skirts, It looks quite good! Well done BTW.

Pete, mines been that way for a while now but I've been too busy driving it than fixing it, I think the only way to fix it is to get it replaced. I'm sure its got to do with the rear window heater filaments drying out the adhesive on the film. I'll get round to it one day, got bigger problems to worry about first tho.LOL

Just to be awkward on this one lads, I have the top spec 7 speaker system in my SZ, well I did have until I started modding the sound system. I think you'll find it was an option on any of the JDM models.

Dale, if you've got the facilities, ie ability to get good access to the underside of the car at the front, I'd buy the solenoid repair parts from Toyota and do the job yourself. The parts are cheap and It shouldn't take more than a day (read that as a lazy day with plenty of tea breaks ). As said above, the only difficult bit is the access to the starter to remove/refit.
