    Funny how I pm'd him within a minute of the advert going up just to asking if the loom was included and to say i was very interested, i get a reply saying he will let me know and then 5 mins later it's sold to someone else. Wonderful.

    Looking at that list reminds me how long i've been on here LOL, joined at 18 years old back in 2004, Christian Doran's twin set up was my favourite car back then Justin's BPU car was a fast fast car set up for 1/4 mile racing, lovely machine.

    Yeah i agree Scott, i think we have been here long enough to know the way it really is, i remember Brian and others when they actually set their records with BPU cars, i know their spec etc, it was far from normal everyday BPU supra's we see but they did a fantastic job and their records have stood the test of time. It will sink in to others

    Very true mate, the top two BPU cars that did run a lot faster than small singles both were set up to run just that, i would say though a BPU supra with stock running gear vs a small single well set up with stock running gear would show the difference between to two, also bare in mind people who have gone single, don't tend to do it for 1/4 mile times but more for the power delivery etc although some just like a nice big turbo to look at. People who have spend big on singles to be fast down the 1/4 mile would wipe the floor with any BPU car set up.

    Scott has a point, all the BPU cars than run fast 1/4 miles times will be set up for drag racing i.e aftermarket torque converter, built auto box, sticky tyres etc.

    Ladbroke grove west London, some parts were filmed in the street next to me but both films were filmed within a small distance.

    Must be joking that would be in someone toilet LOL they wouldn't leave no air freshener I'm lucky (touch wood) i'm in a decent part but just up the road is lethal, i was walking up there the other evening about 7-8pm and one the way back not even an hour later all the shops had their windows smashed in. Then again i went to school with most of the trouble makers

    LOL they filmed Adulthood and kidulthood around my area, the estate part is about 10mins away and boy is it rough They will take your fillings out while your waiting for chicken and chips! LOL

    I think if he is going all that way he will pop up with something special, he knows the records and cars that will be there so he will know his Supra has to have something special which i have no doubt it will.
