  1. Courier companies are a law to themselves. Hate them all with a passion and worse part is they are not regulated by anyone.
  2. Aye, internal host MX record was deleted along with a SQL database All sorted now though
  3. Cheers, but I sold her to make room for the new motor just before Christmas
  4. Cool, a local lad! I have seen a couple of your motors floating around town I used to own the Silver Supra in my profile which you may have seen about.
  5. Aye, normally. I am guessing because it was internal host routing, its instant.
  6. Think I have got it. The host removed my MX Entry held with domain.com and host. It should have been set to exchange domain.co.uk to domain.com Looks like it it immediately working. Ill give it a good testing tomorrow......
  7. Details of the update: http://www.ukhost4u.com/blog/235/server-move-bluelynx6-ukhost4u-com-to-mango-ukhost4u-com/ ^^^^^ host is hosting hosting package and domain.com
  8. Me Neither I am fairly sure the issue is with domain.co.uk registrar. And the MX record needs changing to the MX server for domain.com?
  9. Haven't touched the MX record but there was not one there in the fist place. That's the confusing thing. Its a bit of a mess tbh. Domain 1 is main domain. Domain 2 is backup domain (to stop randoms registering it). Hosting package is applied to......backup domain. Domain 2 is simply the .com of the domain 1's .co.uk Domain 1's @ and www record is pointed at (as of about 4pm today) a (now new as supplied by host/was pointed at old static ip) static assigned IP address. Server Hosts file has a redirect rule. As of now; Ping http://www.domain 1 - Still points at old Static IP Ping domain 1 - Points at New Static IP Ping http://www.domain 2 - Points at New Static IP Ping domain 2 - Points at New Static IP Update was pretty instant if im honest. The has been no downtime site side. When logging into cpannel @ domain.com:PORTNUMBER I can view email accounts, access webmail and email downloads to clients connecting to mail.domain.com (mail.domain.com has always been the mail server) When logging into the cpannel @domain.co.uk:PORTNUMBER I can see the same cpannel as before with all the same accounts - Essentially its just viewing the Cpannel for the hosting package applied to domain.com. Same email accounts, logs and settings etc. When viewing what appears to be the same mailbox's there are old emails stuck in there (from this morning) and does not collect the same emails as the fist domain.com. Any email sent from any webmail/client to [email protected] appears in the domain.com mailboxes. These download nicely and do exactly what it says on the tin. The problem comes when the website sends emails out via a cron job of from the "contact us" form on the site, these end up in the domain.co.uk's mailboxes and I cant seem to get the buggers out :S I only noticed the issue today when email clients stopped picking up emails, when checking mailboxes via cpannel @domain.co.uk:PORTNUMBER I could see them all sat there, even the ones which would have been sent via a normal client. Does it make sense?
  10. I have a a slight problem with one of my hosts who decided to migrate one of my websites to a new server. I have updated the DNS records for the www and @ and everything appears OK site wise. I however have a routing issue with the emails Ideally I would like a Webmaster to glance over my settings to confirm that they are OK/suggest what needs changing. Anyone lend me 10 minutes?
  11. Welcome buddy, I am sure I recognize the SX collection. Your not from the northern part of Essex are you?
  12. Had the same problem when selling my supe on PH. Still sold via PH though but I do agree, it is annoying.
  13. Also don't stay in the business district - Nice hotels at a good price @ weekends - Miles away from the fun!
  14. Nope. General issues such as gaps in service history, major service due, 12 owners, something mechanically wrong or even a number of things wrong. Its where the PPI becomes your very best friend. Expect to spend at least 3K after purchase. That being said, you may get lucky but its very unlikely. Same sort of Story with any car advertised at the bottom end of the market. Trouble with porka's is they cost a lot more to repair than other marques.
  15. Careful with the lower end of the market on the 997's. There is a reason why they are cheaper.

Will be having a chat with dude about a remap too I think!
  17. Going back to the original post, I spent a small fortune collecting all the Sash singles including the imported ones for twenty odd quid a pop. I still have them
  18. *opens youtube, searches Jurgen Vries - The Theme, clicks play*
