  1. Awesome. Why does everyone go on about the lack of power? It's about balance and handling and driver enjoyment, not doing 180mph. I want one.
  2. No it means shocking, as in causing shock, as in "I'm shocked my car gets such good fuel economy". No?
  3. That's perfect weather!! I wish there was a place that had that all year - Madeira is the closest to it I think.
  4. How awesome is this! Building the Enterprise: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2012/05/28/build_the_enterprise_project/ I think it needs fusion power though, some of the comments are interesting.
  5. Most of the people there don't even watch the race!
  6. Watching the driver tracker and pit lane channel on BBC website at the same time as live race. Confusing but cool.
  7. Looks like a scary race: http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=25746

  10. It's not all about power though, small nippy cars are often more fun than big power bruisers. The Supra's a GT car built for motorways and in gear acceleration, the GT86 is a little track weapon like a go-kart, perfect for late night hoons around mini-roundabouts

  12. Sounds a bit like this:
  13. The only thing I'd prefer is the white/cream interior rather than the darker leather. I love the green but not with the green dash. I like this colour interior: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3896003.htm

    My next car

I think I've just found my next car: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3360742.htm Now where's that lottery ticket.

    Hayfever

OK so I've gone alternative, bought me one of these: Qu-Chi band Normally I'm very skeptical, but I read all the reviews I could find and it was an easy majority that said it worked! It can't ALL be the sellers putting up reviews, so I thought I'd give it a go. Now my hayfever hasn't actually been that bad this year, but I'm sure I've given it enough of testing to know that it actually works! I mean I wake up, and after maybe an hour or 2 of blowing my nose and itchy eyes I put the band on - 20 mins later I've got a bit of a run in my nose but nothing else. So I leave it on for a few hours then take it off - maybe 60 mins later I'm blowing my nose again! Weird. Could be coincidence, could be placebo (who cares, if it works?). Only problem is it needs a bit of stretching, first few times I put it on I started getting tingling in my fingers after a few hours!
  16. Or just merged with the official 2012 F1 thread - everything in there is known as a spoiler so people who haven't seen it know not to go in there. As for Hamilton - bit of a harsh punishment I think but then the team are stupid for allowing it to happen - they must know how many laps they want to do, I know it takes longer to add fuel to the cars now but they have PRECISE measurements on fuel, why on earth would they let him go out again KNOWING that he can't get back to the pits? Idiots.
  17. Have you got one of these tower things anywhere close by:
  18. I want an electric car. The only problem I have is not having a garage, they push them as commuter cars and good for city use - but people living in cities have to park in the road - usually half a mile from their house - so when do they charge it?
  19. New Porsche in 1993 was £40k, now they're £70k+ - what's the problem?
  20. I like it, looks nice and aggressive coming up in your rear view mirror!
  21. Not the LFA, not the GT86. http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoexpressnews/283111/reborn_toyota_supra_on_way.html http://photos.autoexpress.co.uk/images/front_picture_library_UK/dir_1048/car_photo_524374_25.jpg
  22. You drive a Supra and live in a house whilst parts of the world can't afford a pushbike. Why don't you hand over 80% of your salary to South African slums?
