  1. I welcome the idea, I wouldn't sign a petition against it.
  2. tt6 normally as low as possible, not even boosting. Gunning I change at 6300 ish for performance, 7200 ish if I want flames!!!
  3. And if you change the (A1-500) bit for (A1-501) it lets you go up to (for example) 1500 grams without the price going up, it will only go up to the next 'level' at 1501. Well that's the first 30 mins of work filled!!! Ooh look, 2000 posts!!!
  4. That doesn't work does it!!! =IF(A1 I've put in 25 as the
  5. How about: =IF(A1 The bold numbers are the prices for each, the 3 is gonna be tricky though - is it added on to the price for 2? If so you'll have to put the whole ((A1-1000)/500)*3 in a bracket with +2 on the end as well (I think). Obviously this is all with the grams figure in A1.
  6. I don't know, just asking if it's worth even looking at. There's speed bumps down my road and at work and I could do with being able to raise it for them, and then lower to the standard hard setting afterwards. I suppose you could have standard suspension and have air bags that are 'loose' generally, then when you fill them they eventually fill enough to take over from the coilovers and raise the car?
  7. I have to go to the next one now, I might even have my car sorted!!! It needs to be sorted for Thorney show on 8th July anyway so it should be show-worthy for the 5th!!
  8. Yeah I got some with the wheels, but they're 65mm internal. I'll get some off Ibrar I think. Gonna put the wheels on tomorrow anyway!!
  9. Well they're only 18s but the tyres are 285/35, they come out to the line of the arch, and because of the way the arch goes in it will hit the edge of the wheel on bumps. The wheels are 9" front +34 offset, and 10" rear +42 offset. There's about 10mm between the arch and the wheel, so I either need rolling or to stiffen the suspension to within an inch of its life!!! Maybe just fit them and see how it goes - is it bad to have lots of rubbing? Will they go bang or anything?
  10. Dusty said not to bother as well, just re-tighten the bolts after a few hundred miles. I'll email Ibrar anyway I reckon. Cheers.
  11. I also need my rear arches rolled as the wheels are HUGE and I'm sure will rub - especially with the Tein SS's. Anyone around here that does it and how much per arch?
  12. I've got a set of hub rings that the pack say are 73mm external and 60.06 internal, but they are actually much bigger than that inside, so they flap about on the hubs!!! They fit the wheels OK but that doesn't really help. 1. Any problems of running without them? 2. Anywhere I can get the right ones? 3. How much?
  13. I can't open it at home, only at work where I have no speakers. bum.
  14. I love the scooby burble, some of them sound really nice when they go past. Maybe I need a different exhaust!!
  15. You don't have to do anything at Thorney, no noise restrictions either!
  16. Yeah, I didn't want to mention that because nobody seemed interested last time I mentioned it. I just think you're all scared of being beaten by old American tanks!!! Basically it's a cheapish 1/4 mile event, with the opertunity to see loads of custom American cars, and be in the Sunday public show and show off your PAJ!!
  17. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=9858&item=4554692020&rd=1 How gutted. :thumbdown
  18. I might be, not sure now. Lots going on this week.
  19. Oh yeah sorry!! It's on the calendar under July 8th-10th. Victory Wheelers Custom show at Thorney Island.
  20. Yeah that's what I had on mine that made them try and get them off with pliers and ended up taking chunks out my rim!!
  21. Well OK it might be up to £45 for a day, but if you like you get to stay all weekend!!! Basically, it's £20 for entry to the show, which means you can go in and out as much as you like Friday Saturday and Sunday, then Saturday and Sunday the strip will be open and it may be £25 a day to run - I need to check with Straightliners. Saturday will be pre-entrants only on the strip - so no queuing with chavs!!! Sunday is a public day - if you're still there people can have a look round your cars etc. But there will be LOTS of people on the strip on the Sunday. So you can get some 1/4 mile runs in for £25, but have to queue with chavs. Pay £20 more and get a 'reasonably' clear strip to run on. Get to be in a show as well!! Still only 10 places up for grabs though - and only a month left and this show normally fills out pretty quick!!! Suprised no-one has signed up for this yet!!
  22. Is there a list of the places that have it?
  23. I was gonna do the razor blade bit when mine kept going missing on the MG. But you know full well you'd get a prison sentence for GBH or something stupid!!! I tried some of the spinning ones, and they were never removed, but I got more and more gouges out of my alloys where they'd tried to clamp them with pliers to get them off!!! I love bling so I just keep buying new sets.
  24. I think most 'gas guzzling' owners prefer this idea to the £900 a year tax idea, especially those that have a second car they can use. Maybe they planned it to put the £900 tax on show, get us all riled up and then bring this one to the front of discussion so we'll say "Oh that's a better idea!". TBH I like the idea because I don't drive very much. Will they have higher prices 'per mile' for 'gas guzzlers' than economical cars?
