  1. Not at the fly it's not, or is that a wheel figure!!
  2. Mine's just doing the thing where it makes a noise, until I put the clutch down and then it goes. But recently it's been feeling clicky as well like a ratchet going in and out.
  3. I am trying to get prices for clutches at the moment - would also like to know fitting prices though as I believe the gearbox has to come out? 4 hours?
  4. I have a set but there's NO WAY I could get them to you by Sunday - sorry dude not much help!!
  5. Also, get an empty spray bottle (Mr Muscle or something) and fill it with water, spray that around and it traps the dust and drags it to the floor - obviously you'll still need to vacuum.
  6. I would, but don't Endless Racing do the same thing for £480? Not much of a reduction for second hand (although it is new in box).
  7. Anyone? It had a clicky ratchet kinda feel today, then it went, then it came back again. I'm worried.
  8. What do you mean by twin glove boxes? I have 1 at the top and 1 at the bottom if that's what you mean.
  9. Did it do the 8.14 on street tyres and normal unleaded though!!!
  10. http://www.mgcreative.co.uk/wheelers/show.html Pre-Entry cut off date is 20th June!!! Otherwise it'll be £30 to run and you'll have to run with all the other public visitors.
  11. Everytime someone posts this (I think I've seen it on every forum I've ever been on!!!!) I always have 1 go, get 73 metres, then give up!!!
  12. Didn't someone on here say they were taken into the station to watch a video caught from the unmarked car behind them, and they caught up to him doing about 120, were just about to pull him and the rear of the car lurched down as it sped off!!!
  13. I've searched, but theres no links that I'm looking for. Basically my clutch is doing that thing where it makes a noise and then it goes when you put the clutch in. It sounded really bad today though, a lot louder. What I want to know is will there be any other signs as it gets worse or will it just die one day? Will it start slipping (the old motorway, put foot down, revs rise but no acceleration bit) first?
  14. OK, so pre-entry is £20, and to run on the Saturday with pre-entrants only is another £20. TBH I doubt there are any spaces left now though, so to run on the Sunday only and park up with me in our little area of the show will be £30 (to run the 1/4) I think basic show entry is £15 or something. I won't be running on Sunday I don't think as there will be too many chav idiots there!! //EDIT: Actually entry to the show is £7 if you're not running. I'll be on the runway somewhere if you come down come and park up with me. Wheelers website.
  15. In the last week of driving up and down motorways, I've managed 640km on £60. Which I've just worked out is 400 miles, £60 is about 71.5 litres round here, which is 15.7 gallons - making it 25 mpg!!! That's not bloody bad!!!! Maybe my odo overreads by 30% I don't know but I'm still pleased!!!
  16. http://www.thedownloadplace.com/ A mate showed me, I had a brief look and it looks quite proffesional, doesn't look like a scam, but I couldn't see any prices! Surely you don't pay $30 then be able to download unlimited stuff!!! Have a search through some of the software they've got for example! So anyone used it before? How much are each of the downloads?
  17. The other thread: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=40155 I'm gonna try and find out more from straightliners about prices. Anyone in the south - why don't you want to come? Scared? Too expensive? Busy that weekend? Can't be bothered? Don't want to be seen with American cars? I'm confused, this event is cool!!
  18. It's funny when those police chases are on and they say "This car is traveling at extreme speeds, at one point it reaches over 100 mph!!" - ooh wow.
  19. That's why I said I agree with it, the theory would be OK. No fuel tax, no road tax, just pay per mile, heavy road users pay a lot and people that don't drive very often don't pay as much. The problem is that we all know full well the price 'per mile' will be ludicrously expensive, even if you're on a deserted road in the middle of the night you'll likely be paying 30p a mile, and we know that fuel prices won't drop to anywhere near the level they should be (they'll drop to 75p 'to start with' and everyone'll say "Ooh that's a good start" and then they won't go down any more!!). Also I was basing it on the fact that they WON'T measure your speed, and I'd expect to have to sign something that says they won't register your speed in any way. Otherwise, just remove all road tax, speed cameras and everything, and increase fuel tax, that'll do the same job won't it?
  20. What happened to the link from here for discount subscriptions?
  21. People who walk out when the little man is red annoy me, yesterday there were 2 fat ladies crossing (really slowly) and my light had just gone green - someone was just flashing me to go in front of him as well and I had to sit there like a lemon cos there were 2 biffers in the road!!! An old bloke was about to step out as well but I gave a quick blast of 6" ful decat and he stepped back onto the pavement!!!
  22. South Coast Wheels in Southampton, and their sister company Southern Performance Tyres. Had work done today by the workshop guys (Southern Performance Tyres), one of them has a Supe and the other a Sierra Cossie. Nice guys, helpful, know their stuff, laughed at the BMW driver that was there!!! Anyway I know some of you are picky about tyre fitters and balancers etc, these guys seem cool if you're in the area (PITA to find if you don't know Soton though!!!).
  23. :needspic: You guys are funny.
